jin_sakura226
Well runescape has a lot of effect. When i was in N.Y. over the summer for vacation, i went to the libaray and saw that every floor had someone playing rs. Pretty much all the kids were playing it and even adults. plus i got to know lots of different pple in rs for my 5 months in the game. It usaully take about 1-2 years to get a total 1100+ lvls but, there was one person that was lvl 1660+ total lvl who only played like 8 months. I also heard that a guy's gf broke up with him because she thought he played too much rs. So try to focus more on life. :) [/b] wanna play ??^_^ total=1650+ =)time pass by so fast -_-

Caisadi
Right. As this is a RuneScape fansite, what makes you think coming in here and telling us to stop playing the game we love (which the majority of players only play for a maximum of a couple of hours a day - you only get the odd n0-lyfer), is going to go down well? It isn't. ~ Kaysa. spooferfish
It is true, there is more to life than Runescape. I'm sure there are some that don't want to realize this, but it's true. I get tired of seeing people telling others to get a life and the like when they post stats or goals.. I'm not going to get into that though... If you are going to play at the library, be sure the computers are secure, I don't want to see you making a post about getting hacked :wall:
icecube
Runescape is part of life too... some people just happen to focus a little too much on the virtual aspect of life.

misterbuckey
...what makes you think coming in here and telling us to stop playing the game we love... he never said to stop playing the game, but to make sure not to make it your entire life. I agree, some people do that too much. someone suggested pokemon catching. :XD: :uhh: ...Oh vowels...What ever did you do to deserve this? this guy is hilarious, I swear. Iantiger
I think I read an excerpt from Wikipedia which described Runescape as a 'lifestyle' rather than just a game, which is a little creepy, but true when you think about it. A lot of people spend much more of their spare time on it than all other activities put together. It's perfectly easy to lead both a great social life and still have plenty of time left over for Runescaping. What I've found though personally, is that Runescape makes you a more detached/independant person, and spending too much time on it doesn't give your social side a chance to develop properly, resulting in perhaps being a more timid and shy person. ~Ian Retired Tip It Moderator | Zybez Radio DJ - Listen Here

atestarossa
yea, there is more to life than runescape... i feel sorry for the guy loosing his girlfriend, but also here where i live, some ppl do too little homework and get bad characters, just becuase they are playing this game... Just play the game as much as you want, but be shure you could manage to take a week free or something whenever you want, if not remember this --------> "you should control your life, not let the life control you"<---
hungryblader
yeah man, runescape shouldn't be your life. Skating and Girls, that's the way to live your life. The three people i know that play it in my class are the ones with the beahrioal problems. Like talking out in class. All of them are defiently not shy. I will shoot down any one with my bitting wit, and sarcasm! What POSSIBLE reason would someone have to make a fake like that?Does he profit from faking a picture like that? Seems I am the exception to your rule. I had a lack of friends early on in life because I was so smart and getting such good grades that people were beating me up. After a period of my mind collapsing in on itself, my grades going to hell, and getting into the online gamer community, and finally graduating high school with a 2.09 gpa and being unable to enter college, I'm now doing far better socially than I ever was 10 to 15 years ago. And BTW, I'm 23 now. Sadly, I'm stuck with my parents for life too. So what the hey... RUNESCAPE FOREVER!!! ~Mr. Devnull (BTW, I have only had my RuneScape Account for about 1 year, 1 month as of when I am posting this. Before RuneScape, I was playing an alternate game called "Galaxis Online" for about 1 year, 3 months... Then their community went down the tubes with the game going dormant until the next version... What is there at Galaxis Online now is something you wish to avoid.) and normally with a cool mind.(Warning: This user can be VERY confusing to some people...
