So with the new release of the parent guide I thought it would be a good time to ask what ur parents, parent, or guardian think of runescape..,,,

 

 

 

 

 

My parents have a split view, my mom doesnt really care she just wants me to do what I want, and my dad hates runescape and all computers he is the jock type and wants me to excel in sports lame.....

 

 

 

It is possible to play runescape and be a good athlete. I play runescape quite a bit but also am a good athlete.

 

 

 

But my parents think its a waste of time.

My parents are interested in it, but exclaim, "how can you play such a repetitive game and not get bored for so long?!" whenever I speak about it :P

my parents dont care, theyre used to me disapearing in the study for ages...Like before rs and the internet i would disappear into the play room and play on the ps2 none stop...

My dad doesn't care, but my mom blames everything that goes wrong on RS.

my parents are almost the same exept that my father is the one who blames everything that goes wrong on computers in general and my mother doesn't care.

My parents don't really take any interest, my sister played for about 10 minutes once though :|

My dad thinks that too, but he thinks it's good that I can learnt to know people in other countries like Norway, Usa and others. He was the one that agreed with the membs.

I was addicted before..and they freaked out and made me quit. then I got really good grades at school and now they don't care if I play..cause I'm not addicted anymore =D>

My dad got mad when I forgot to pay him for my membership other than that, they dont care

My parents don't care what games i play.

 

They will just assume that whatever bad habits i learned are from games

 

I hardly even convinced my mum to pay for my membership this coming november and wonders if she will break her word :pray:

My parents really don't care how long I play video games, just as long as I do get outside and do stuff every day. I usually have to work, so that pretty much fills the 'requirement'. And paintball. <3

Playig RS til 2 in the morning and then getting busted by them might have something to do with it i suppose :-k

true but any1 reading this will say i dont play enough. i get 4 hours each week to play. and no membership. iv had my main since 2001 and im lvl 73 whats wrong here:(. i invest the rest of my time in waterpolo and paintball

hey, anyone who says their parents wont get them membership, just use pay by phone, you call up a number and it gives you a code for membership you put in, when the phone bulls comes they won't even notice

on the topic at hand though, My Mom thinks that computers are a waste of time, but doesn't limit my time on the computer :D . My Dad prefers me playing RS over Gunz Online or other fps. I do too :XD: , But overall, they dont know that much about it besides what i tell them. My mom couldn't be interested less in games, but my dad plays some of my games... sometimes:)

..mom wants me to play sports, and she said she doesnt care wat i want, she says shes incharge. she absolutely hates runescape with a passion because im on it alot.

 

my dad doesnt relly bother me about it. it just ticks me off how my mom wants me to do wat she wants. she doesnt even care to listen wat i want. im only 15 lol

i got addicted earlier this year...then my parents made a time limit because thats all i did.1 hour a day 7 days a week.so i quit for 3 weeks...then came back and started goin over the limit(by 3 or 4 hrs a day).

 

 

 

then i broke my ankle.so now i play all i want :P

My parents don't know I play runecape. I have been playing since October 04, nearly 2 years now and I managed to survive by deleting the history. :twisted:

 

 

 

But, they don't suspect anything since I have been getting good grades. Come to think about it, ever since I started runescape, I got 1st in class 6 out of 7 times. I only got 2nd in class once. :thumbsup: \

my parent got mad when i started rs....2 years later...just as long as i play on weekends....but they dont have to know...do they? :twisted:

my mom and dad actulay like the runescape my mom made her a rs account and has gotten 70 herblore wow! and 50 theving my mom lov thegame my dad used to be a level 70 smither but he quit and he woln't give me his pass
