Every chance my mom gets, when I mess-up, she wants to take RuneScape forever. My dad likes it, and thinks it will help me learn how games work, etc. my step-mom despises x 1,000,000,000. She doesn't like me, and everyone knows it. So, she hates RuneScape, since I like it. :-k

My parents didn't really care about it, on the other hand, my friends thought it was the most [developmentally delayed]ed thing on the face of the planet.

my parents HATE runescape with a passion, everytime i play it and my mom comes walking by the computer its "Do you always have to play that game!?!?! you've been on that thing for hours! go outside and mow the lawn" or something like that, even though i usually am like still in the title screen when she says "you've been on that thing for hours." My mom hates it, my dad wants to kill it, my sisters hate it, so i stopped playing it :cry: i guess the peer pressure got 2 me. but now i run a rs forum and that takes some time and i think its actually more fun then playing the game, so it all worked out i guess.

My mom is REALLY annoying when it comes to Runescape...

 

My dad not only doesn't mind, he actually is interested in it.

My parents are interested in it, but exclaim, "how can you play such a repetitive game and not get bored for so long?!" whenever I speak about it :P

Ironically, I always ask my ingame friends that, 'cause I don't get it. I mean, what the HELL is wrong with most Scaper's? Do you realize you're spending hundreds of hours clicking on the same rock for a number, and this is what you call fun? And I'm sure that's a very productive way to spend your life :roll: .

 

 

 

That is why the only thing I ever do is CW. Everything else is boring, repetitive, and pointless. When I've got no more than an hour or two a day of free time thanks to intense Junior Year homework I don't want to spend my free time clicking on a pixelated tree over and over and over....

 

 

 

Homeowork ex: I've got 4 tests on Monday, and my English teacher assigned a 400 page book this weekend, and that's just the tip of the iceberg. My teachers are, in every sense of the word, sadistic.

My mom hates online games so I just tell her its a low graphic version of morrowind. And she still thinks it is

My mum doesn't mind that much. But when i asked her could i use her credit card and ill give her the cash (for membership) she freaked. She's like "Aren't you already a member, how else could you play?" LoL

 

 

 

Took me a week to convince her they wouldn't charger more then 8.20 (Aussie money) and that i'd cancel after 1 month.

 

 

 

Memberrship finished the other day, after 3 months :):)

As a parent my self, playing this game, plus having a daughter playing, I have to say I think runescape is great :)

my moms mostly like: are you still behind your pc? you have been playin all morning, afternoon and evening. turn it of and go remove grass between the stones(never hatet our garden more then since i play rs :shock: ). and my dad thinks im addicted. maybe he has a point, but prob not :P ... i play like 2-4 hours a day.. does this make me addicted?(plz really need to now badly :( )

I do play quite a bit, but I do, do things with them, I talk to them, and I do other stuff.

 

I tried getting my father to play, but he said that there was too many things happening at once, and had no idea what was going on. :lol:

My mom doesn't really mind and my dad hates everything I do. He's so old-school if I drive a care he thinks I should be riding horseback. :roll: I'm in Wisconsin for the summer because we just bought a KOA campground. So I have plenty of time to be on the computer. Once I go back down to Nebraska for school I will barely be on at all as I will be doing sports, driving, hanging out, etc. : I honestly think it's a waste of time myself...it's just so addicting.
