Ok so some of you might go to mini clip every so often to play some games when you are bored.So while I was there today i noticed thay have a ton of games related to penguins like http://www.miniclip.com/games/club-penguin/en/ so mini clip might want Jagex to put these in the game as part of their deal.

I doubt this is true. My brother occationally plays that game. Its very goofy. I dont think jagex advertises miniclip though and if they did that isnt a very good way to do it as its not even noticable at all...its a very vague connection.

I was convinced they were going to be a teaser for an ice lands update, but they have been there since april I think, so i'm not so sure :-k

when you talk to the farmer guy he says that a monster scares away the other shearers the penguins are the monster and when you finish the quest your character even tells the farmer that there the monsters scaring away the other people... :wall:

No, I'm guessing Jagex is working on a quest involving penguins. In fact, I have an idea of what it' could be like. And penguins are cool. Not evil.

i don't know why people think this. Your totally wrong. Here's the actual story behind this. But first, warriorccc0, how can this be? The sheep shearer quest was around before the penguins...The monster is the goblin. April 1st-2006 i believe, jagex released an update. But also the hidden one as penguins under a sheep costume for no apparant reason. April first actually happens to be APRIL FOOL'S DAY!!!!!!! It's a joke ok people? they planted it so when people try to shear it, they see that its penguins...stop making stupid theories and saying its part of the quest lol... :roll:

they will serve a purpose someday but until then live with it, most likely its not involing mini-clip

Personally I always thought it was a reference to that animated movie "Madacasgar", with the penquins that kept trying to escape. Never gave it much more of a thought as far as a future plot.

if i remember right, the pinguins at lumbrigde was released at 1 april... give any thoughs... and they will probably have something to do with new "here be pinguins" quests

 

 

 

ps: if you haven't done it, talk to fred the farmer, and he will tell you about "the beast", i don't think he has ever seen pinguins discuised as sheeps before :P

I got an idea...maybe a "Wilderness Quest" that lots of people have been wanting:

 

Maybe the penguins in "Here Be Penguins" have built HUGE tunnels reaching all of Runescape, they popped up one time to see the world(maybe) & they saw sheep, they know that penguins have been locked up in cages so they put on a disguise, a sheep disguise, the quest goes about you building a bridge onto here be penguins, these enguins have Humanspeak amulets, (linked to evil bob maybe?) & they ask you to rescue the penguins in Ardounge Zoo...maybe they act like glough & turn evil? A story line involving Evil Bob? Who knows eh? :-s
