Have you ever had a skill you hated but for some reason had to train and soon after started to really enjoy it?

 

 

 

Agility was like this for me but after having to get 56 agility for regicide i decided it wasn't all bad. Now it is one of my favourite skills.

 

 

 

Has this ever happened to you :?:

Runecrafting, i thought it was the hardest one ever, then i found out i enjoy using the walking method rather then abyss, 4k nats per day without any pouches and only 42agility lol.

Well, I hated farming a lot, but I got used to it and eventually I started to love it :) Especially when i discovered the really nice exp from trees and higher level herb seeds :)

 

 

 

I also didn't like ranged a lot, but now I bought ranger set and I seem to like it again :D

Yeah, ive found i like quite alot of skills that i used to absoloutly hate like, farming for example, although mines only 22 or so now i still like it, it's just i don't have time for it at the moment.

Fishing and Ranging.

 

 

 

Now I have 79 fishing and 71 ranging and own full Karils

fishing..no wait i still hate that

 

 

 

gota be....well i hate alot of skillls so combat in general i guess

 

 

 

i used to be 62cb with 79rc and over 1100total (good i guess)

I used to detest fletching...

 

 

 

but a friend started fletching and asked me to join him..now I lvoed it.

Seems that alot of you used to hate farming and ranging and i have to admit i hate ranging but farming is alright

Mining, I guess. I wanted 60 mining, so I could go in the guild. The problem? I was only 54 mining. And I hated mining...But after I started mining 2.8K iron, I found it a lot more interesting. Except now, at 66 mining, I think it's boring.

 

Rnage. I can't say how much I hated F2P range. But now, I love using my cannon and throwing weapons.

 

Construction. I thought I would hate it, mainly since I heard it costed a lot of money to train. Yes, it DOES cost a lot of money, but it's still fun.

The more expensive a skill is to level up the more ppl seem to enjoy it lol

Construction is like a drug, I had about 1 con for a month, then I decided to get some more levels...then the money started to run out...then when I got more money I kept going, that crystal saw update only made me do it more -.-

i had many skills that when i began to train them i was thinking BORING. eg: firemaking and runecrafting. yet once i started using them i found them easy to train and better than the other stats :-$

i hated farming for some reason... but now its a part of my rs everyday to do list lol :D and runecrafting.. was boring.. but really pays off when your done =P~

crafting? i dont know...i hate the idea behind most skills where i have to do this or that to get the end result exp...like...crafting, hides and stuff i dont want to buy them and i dont want to get them...but the stuff you can do after lvling is really nice.

 

 

 

 

 

i hate alot of skills like that, like smithing, i like lvling it up but i hate about everything else to it.

 

 

 

 

 

but the best id say is slayer, i hate that god damn skill so much because it so dumb, i love the drops i love killing stuff for melee exp but i hate dealing with the slayer masters and their stupid [wagon] assignments, like oo 50 metal dragons... or oo crawling hands...what the hell i have a slayer mask so i can hit 35+'s theirs no real reason to use it if its for crawling hands.

Range and Magic....

 

 

 

I didn't get my range past 20 for my first 3 years....

 

 

 

I hated it so much....

 

 

 

Now I have 71 range, c bow and the coolest looking outfit I've ever seen...

 

 

 

Mage was just too dang expensive... Then I saw how much fun it really was.. And have been hooked on it ever since...

Hmm, let's see there is no skill that I actually hated and love now, but something could be useful from my days when I was F2P

 

 

 

I hated not being able to pickpock anyone because it was members only, but now it's my top skill. I didn't hate it but I didn't like not being able to pickpocket any NPC's.

 

 

 

And there is only one skill I hate, farming, and no, I still hate it.

Magic can be very costly unless you have a great deal of luck

Though i find barrows reduces the cost of magic xp

Farming for me, at first I didnt get it really and never wanted to look into it. But now I love it.

Farming... I did it to lv 11 , and i tought what a stupid skill, started to train again. Now I like it. :D

Farming. I hated it, but now i realy like it.
