Quest Cape

My thoughts for what they are worth

1) The cape automatically returns to and stays in the bank if your quest log is not all green

2) QP based capes are a bad idea - it doesn't tell you whether the player has done the hard quests or not - DT, MEPII and RfD can be missed out to get a 200 QP cape - and it will get easier as time goes on.

3) People have been asking for a Better Quest recognition reward than legends for some time now- this is Jagex's response. Legends cape is the second best in the game and you only need 107 QP for that. I have 120 more than that! A cape for having done ALL quests ought to give a better reward than the Legends cape.

Maybe every time the total QP goes up by 10, they raise the QP needed by 10, and as someone said, when you fall below that, it simply turns from green to red, or it becomes unequipable when you next log in.

As for the bonuses I would go for +1 all CB bonuses and +1 to all stats, so it could help you do new quests if you're 1 lvl too low. That would be awesome IMO...mining rune with 84 mining, smithing r plates with 98 smithing, all when not potted. =P~ chances...

Basically we can expect all the capes to be more for show than for stats, so I'm not going to get my hopes up...

Well... there are a couple things to consider when you're thinking about the All Quest Cape.

1) Mourning's End Part II

2) The High Level Skills needed to complete some quests -> i.e. 68 Smithing for Devious Minds.

3) Recipe For Disaster

4) Mourning's End Part II

5) Haunted Mine

For one, your list is wrong. Mourning's End I is easy (since you have two Mourning's End II I'm assuming one is a Mourning's End I). Haunted Mine takes little skill, just some determination. Desert Treasure is not on there. It is only 65 smith for Devious Minds, and you can use soup and a dwarven stout (m) and get it at 58.

So, a new list of hardish quests.

1)Regicide

2)Mourning's End II

3)Desert Treasure

4)Fairy Tale II

5)Recipe for Disaster

I don't think there will be "All quest cape" there will be like "200qp cape" or such thing. cause if u get "all quest cape" and they release new quest so your cape will disappear ???? I don't think so. they just do like "200qp cape"
I was trying to figure out how the cape would work and i think that this is the most likley suggestion, otherwise people wouldn't be able to keep hold of the cape for long, if every time a new quest came out it dissapeared. :-k

if anything it would probably turn from green to red. i mean only logical thing i can think of if it quired every single quest.

yeah if the cape would change color when a new quest is released that would be the best solution, then you could still see you had all quests at one point, but it would be even better to havethem ALL NOW

all capes will probably be retrievable at clothesstore or something when lost.

Regicide? Come on! Getting the agility was the hardest part. I almost died, sure, but it was out of boredom!

MEPII: I agree

DT: I agree

Fairy tale II: getting the herblore requirements was the difficulty for this one... I found swan song harder as it had a (semi) decent Boss.

RfD: I agree. I absolutely LOVED :3> it, though.

I would replace regicide for Monkey madness. It was quite hard, and VERY annoying. I must have been like a gazillion times in that jail...

some of you said MEP2 was easy. Heck no, specially if you use no quest guide. I feel very sorry for the poor person who wrote that guide.

replace regicide with monkey madness ( monkey madness took alot of time, regicide was easy, i did it with 53 agility with ease) and yeah, also the only hard thing about recipe for disaster is the 175 questpoints.

Regicide - not all that hard. Actually, it can be if you know what you're doing. I hardly every know what I'm doing. It actually took me a very long time to figure out how to distill coal tar.

Mourning's End II - I actually listed that twice for emphasis. I know Part I is easy. Part I is fun actually. I liked the part where you jump in the apple barrel. Jumpy jump jump ^o^

DT - Yeah... don't know why I didn't list this.

Fairy Tale II is not hard. I used a greenman's ale to complete it. It's actually a fairy... I mean... fairly easy quest. Don't have to think much and you don't have to fight anything dangerous. Goraks are teh cute.

R4D ... eh... actually there are some things about this quest that make me go "Eehhhhh...." but the reward is worth it. I actually haven't finished it, but that's only because I haven't done Minky Mudness yet.

im one who normally has completed every quest. I have every quest completed up until I stopped being a member a month or so back. so I have about 5 left to catch up on, but I dont think any are hard.

I love the idea of rewarding characters for doing quests.

I myself am no where near a 99 skill. I have been playing this game since 2001, and my closest is 93 hitpoints. barely over half way... at that rate ill get a 99 in the year 2011. HAHA.

anyways i've always been fond of Quests. a fun aspect of a game.

I think the idea of obtaining the cape when you have every quest done, then once a new quest is released, the cape becomes un-wearable, until that Quest is finished, sounds good to me. Just to keep the players on their toes, I hope that is what they plan.

It is going to be the only cape I'll be able to have, probly ever, yea... ever. 99s are overrated, haha \'

Having 200, 210 quest points or even 226 quest points isn't the same as having them all. It wouldn't feel as special if it was like that. I hope that they make every single quest a requirement for it. If a quest was to be released after you got the cape, you would still be able to use the cape. If you lost the cape after another quest was released, you would need to do that quest to get the cape again.

I put Regicide on there because of the boredom, I messed up on something and had to walk allllll the way back, too much walking. Fairy Tale II is an easy quest, but it is getting herblore that high that is hard. RFD was quite fun. Monkey Madness was really easy. Legends maybe, I can't remember how hard that was.

I hope it has some good attributes because it will be the only quest I will be able to get for a long time. Thanks to Evil Dave stews and potions. Yes I hate raising my skills, but love quests.

Here are my opinions on the quests whizkid wrote.

1)Regicide- Pretty easy although it does take awhile.

2)Mourning's End II-Okay this is one that IS hard. I was lvl 76 some and high lvl 40 agility and took me a WHILE. The last puzzle took me an hour to figure out what was wrong with it.

3)Desert Treasure- I was really scared with this quest especialy when people discouraged me saying I couldn't do it since my magic lvl was only in the high 50's, but it is easy if you just follow guide.

4)Fairy Tale II- Only hard part is getting lvl 50 herblore (Evil Dave Stews)

5)Recipe for Disaster-I told myself I would do this one without a guide since there wasn't one while I was doing it. Found it extremely easy except for the Evil Dave stews. Found a little guide on here for it. other than that I found it easy.

It will probably give you a message saying "you can't equip this item." when a new quest comes out. Doubt it would disappear

That's exactly how I pictured it.

My thought is this. Each month, approximately 3 or 4 quests are released. While these quests are out, you will retain your cape. Come the end of the month, if you have not finished all 4 quests, you lose your title of having all quests completed, and then your cape is taken.

don't worry, you are going to "hell" anyway. wanna race to see who gets there first?

I completed them all 8).

Sheep herder.. It was a disaster :0. Hardest quest ever.

I got so mad doing that quest. The sheeps would not go the way I prodded them or someone would get in my way!!! Put it off for a month. When I tried again it was extremely easy.

Quests are alot of fun. The best suggestion I heard that is realistic is the extra tears idea. +1 to all skills? That sounds a little redicoulous, wow I can't spell right now. This would be the only cape I could maybe obtain, and I just hope that what we are all hoping for from these capes doesn't depress us when it comes out and it isn't what we are expecting.

A reflection is just a distorted reality held by glass and your mind.
