aznmidget448
I think jagex should just put a popup when you enter barrows area that tells you to turn off accept aid. That way, people will remember to do it. They should not ban it from barrows area because some people might need the help to save their lives. ROFL!, People at barrows take there own telies, you dont need some person to cast it on you.
Majin_Numark
I agree that Accept Aid should always just be set to off as it is something a lot of people can just use to their advantage against you. This doesn't have to do with barrows, but a long while back I remember being bored and wanting to range at black demons. Someone was already in one of the range spots, so I moved over to a different one, but I could still see what was going on. A second person then came up and told (not asked) the person who was already there to move because they liked that spot. The first person just ignored it and still managed to get all the demons themselves. A third person then came in, who was obviously a friend of the second person as they both started telling the person to move. He didn't listen, so the third person started repeatedly casting teleother on him until the person who was already there hopped to a different world. The second and third people laughed about it, and while the one started ranging the other said "Goodbye" and tele'd out going back to whatever they were doing. So, Accept Aid should definately always be off, imo.
WpKievit
It isn't bug abuse, neither is it scamming. They only thing it is, is pathetic. And you can't report anyone for that.

Made0f12une
Doesn't JaGex consider that Item Scamming if you die? I saw a post on this before It's not bug abuse, but it does fall under the rule of item scamming. Regardless, Jagex has told us time and again to REPORT THESE PEOPLE. They are working in a way to inhibit your playing of the game. They need a set up such as was inplanted in Battlefield 2 When someone is reported the game is recorded and whats being recorded is what the player [at his/her house] is seeing. They can then review what happened and apply bans accordingly ^^ClicK^^"I backed my car into a cop car the other dayWell he just drove off sometimes life's ok...Alright already we'll all float onAlright don't worry we'll all float on" - Isaac BrockDays Hunting:4 - Kingly Imps Caught:2Money Earned: 4.5-5m

Kill_Thomas9
It's bug abuse, because it's an unintended action in the game that the designers did not want. Obviously, if Jagex wanted players offing each other at the barrows, they'd have allowed players to attack each other directly. Teleother spells were intended to allow other players to assist one another getting around, not to allow some less than honest folk to steal from more well-off players. Bug abuse isn't always elaborate, as in actually hacking the game. It is exploiting a loophole that isn't supposed to be there. Well you've hit the conflict head on. Some people disagree that that isn't actually a bug. (although i agree with you 100%). Either way, it is cheap and item scamming, and warrants a ban. jackal_55
i think jagex has confirmed that it IS bug abuse, as for the people saying turn accept aid off, when your being teleothered, i think most of your menu's disapear. (not sure, i'll check later) i've personaly had this happen to me more than once, but if you time it right, you can get the guy trying to teleother you, to wake up dharok :XD: nudist hippy vegan elves who inexplicably wear leather. So why would someone want to be teled out when they don't ask to be teled out? Leesters
Doesn't JaGex consider that Item Scamming if you die? I saw a post on this before Yes, tele-othering is reportable, and it falls into the category of item scamming. Since that doesn't help a barrower get his stuff back, just make sure you have accept aid off before you go down there. And if you forget to turn it off and someone is barraging you with tele-other requests, for goodness sake, just accept it to save your own life. A circus in Runescape?? Oh my. REMEMBER RUNESCAPE KARMA! Be a nice player, and nice things will come back to you.I'm back, add me if you deleted me. :)

notalkie
you can do this in many places ( ex someone is about to die and you close the door they try to escape to) so unless you want them make it impossible to close doors during cmb then quit complaining. rude?yes. bug abuse? no. It is totally wrong. You are more likely to hit someone drunk. Usually in a car.Yes, good concept. See your own boldfaced text? You basically contradicted yourself there; I'm not sure if you get what we're saying, but by accepting the tele one can escape from being killed, rather than not being able to move and dying once your prayer runs out.
