I cant type and I was wondering who knows how

If so please suggest a typing program for me :D

So can you type?

My best suggestion would be to not use the home keys. For me it only slows me down. Pretty much, just learn patterns and think about what you are going to type before you type the next word lol.

Also don't type in chat speak or leet speak lol. :-w

..Didn't you just type a post?

I'm not sure if you're looking for a typing speed test? Or if you don't, if you're lazy, try one of those programs that convert speech to letters, though it's often unreliable and the software misrecognises words.

This program is probably the best known: http://talktoyourcomputer.com/products_dnspro90.html, however on some forums people would complain a lot about inaccuracies in the program. For example if you farted (don't ask), it would type "France". I wouldn't count on it.

Best program out there, and has been in production for 20 years now. I used it until high school.

or... you couls start merching on runescpe (that'll get his typing up FAST)

i can type about 95 WPM at a 98% accuracy and ive never taken lessons apart from keyboarding class which was just a blow off class for me so that i could take classes that requires it, thats where i found out i type fast

I :3> home row!

It makes typing soo much easier for me. Some people say they hate it but I cant imagine doing it any other way.

you cant imagine actually looking at what you type and then when you make a mistake and you press the backspace you make more mistakes? :?

I couldn't type at all, took keyboarding, and am upwards of 70 words per minute. Runescape also helped me a lot  From talking to all of the people.

Well, i've been a fast typer for a long time, get 100+ words per minute, and that's from having to type papers in 5th grade alot and playing online games for about 6 years. Just takes practice and getting use to.

i'm use to the WASD keys, usually because i play FPS games a lot and that had made me type insanely fast for some reason

Mavis becon does rock. The thing you want to do is to learn home row. Also it is best if you can use a keyboard cover when learning to type. So you don't reily on looking down to see the keys.

I will shoot down any one with my bitting wit, and sarcasm!

What POSSIBLE reason would someone have to make a fake like that?Does he profit from faking a picture like that? Does it help him at all?Jesus Christ, stop being so suspicious. This is Tip.it for God's sake, not RuneHQ. -_-

I cant use homwrow, my fingers aren't used to it :(

I dont know how I type, just comes naturally. I know where all the keys are so I think my fingers just go there... heh. :?

P.S Is there a online test were you can see whats your "Words per Minute" and Accuarcy? Thanks :)

I suggest taking computer classes at school. I was forced to take computers all through middle school and when I got to high school and started Computer Applications 1, I was one of the fastest typers in my class. I actually finished all the work ahead of everyone else and spend most of my time online or drawing during.

My school doesn't offer any kind of typing classes. And I couldn't fit that into my schedule anyway. I get 1 elective, and I have to have PE/Health this year, and Spanish next year. And my Senior year is y only open year, so I'm probably taking an online course, or going to a career center. So, it sadly wouldn't fit my schedule, nor do we offer it. :(

Stupid school I go to!

Me doing staff.

I don't type. I project my thoughts straight to the screen and the words magically appear. :D

I learnt to touchtype using homerow, and I can honestly say that even while learning, my figers hardly ever pressed the keys they were disignated for. People at uni have watched me type before and have been like "what the hell, how can you type like that? Your hands are never in the same place for more than a few seconds"

Um, well, I can type fast, up to 55 words a minute if I put my mind to it. However I never took a program, and don't use home keys, it soo slow!

Use index fingers for all letters between E and U, middle for WSX, IJN, and thumb for space bar.

Though again... I don't reccommend that, just keep typing, definitely use the thumb for space but otherwise I suggest just developing your own technique.

I've been trying to use homerow, but my I get bored easy so I switch back to the barbaric sort of typing. Oh, and there was a program called All the Right Type at school that I used.
