panthers4091
Here is a quote from the new update: Runecrafting pouches have always automatically emptied themselves when you drop them on the ground. We have now added a warning message to ask if you're sure you wish to drop them. I've never really runecrafted by the abyss myself,so correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't this mean that people who drop their pouches right before they die to save them, will probably lose them now, since it will take a longer time to drop? Barihawk
Someone made that case in the OF. Paul responded personally stating that when you die, you are supposed to lose your items. Therefore, no sympathy from Jagex. My heart is broken by the terrible loss I have sustained in my old friends and companions and my poor soldiers. Believe me, nothing except a battle lost can be half so melancholy as a battle won. -Sir Arthur Wellesley
Rebdragon
Looks like the 5 year old abyss pkers whined themselves up another advantage? Apparently attacking a defenseless player was too difficult for them. Kill_Thomas9
Jagex has officialy ruined one of the last ways to save your self from hours of work when being pked. You used to be able to drop your pouches, and glory, then run back and pick them up. Now you get a warning message when trying to drop the pouches. I smell a conspiricy. First jagex realises the inflation problem they have. Next the introduce pure ess update. "Killing two birds with one stone". Stop the hackers, and make runecrafting less appealing. This means less nature runes, and less high alching. This lowers the cash flow comming into the game. Next jagex makes construction a huge money drain. Also compensating for the massive cash coming into the game through alching. Now they ruin the one last reliable way of saving your rune ess pouches when being pked (unless you have a house teleport tablet). I think jagex is trying to make runecrafting less appealable, and discourage people from runecrafting. (If you dont runecraft, you have no idea how hard it is to get your pouches back if you loose them.) After all, give me ONE good reason for needing to have the rune ess pouches empty when you drop them. Comment, flame, whatever.
Peronix
Ok, that kind of sucks, but you know what? How about avoid getting pkd in the first place? I've crafted so many runes (around 40k) without even coming close to needing to drop my pouches, so I'm fine. Besides, it's not that hard to get your pouches back. I can get them in 20 minutes tops. This dosen't lower the effectiveness of RCing all that much, really.

milemaster55
well, basically, your "conspiracy" is right but it is more a measure to ruduce inflation and save the economy from a depression (sounds stupid, but it can happen in runscape, and might if things continue on their course). so jagex is taking a step to ensure that they dont have to step in and intervere. anyway, if it was an attempt to thwart rcing, then it is lame, and last ditch, sure, a bit inconvienent, buti have only been pk'd like 3 times ever, and spending 10 min getting ur pouches is a small price to pay for raking in 500k+ an hour click here to see a kickin' clue reward!!!!!!double ownage--->http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f_oblEe9bQ4ROFLMAO--->
Iv_Green_vI
yeah dude, think about it.. atleast they didnt make a warning message for glorys.. riight.. so just dont wine and get your pouches back like a man when you get pked. plain and simple.. =;
whizkid338
It makes it harder to keep your pouches, so what. It doesn't take that long to get them back. And anyway, it makes runecrafting more of an accomplishment when you get higher levels. And you get more money cause fewer people craft nats. R.I.P The Old Nite. Heroes get remembered. Mementh
Looks like the 5 year old abyss pkers whined themselves up another advantage? Apparently attacking a defenseless player was too difficult for them. sigh.. when will they learn.. the wild is not a place to have things.. i can understand having it in lvl 1-2.. but lvl 6 gives too many opportunistic pkers luckily i am getting to a lvl where they CAN'T attack me ( at least most of them, being in the 85-90ish range for combat) The following statement is true. The previous statement is false. 60% of all statistics are made up 90% of the time andrew i love you & want you to have my babys!!! LilCaveman
Actually it is hard to get them back, but just carry an ecto. The only reason this doesn't bug me cause if someone pks me for a glory and rune pick, i end up gettin mystic+glory and some stuff back in about 30 seconds :P nah really. I say we get back at the man, let's make 500billion nats and make inflation a huge problem again. All aboard say aye Looks like the 5 year old abyss pkers whined themselves up another advantage? Artemis_42
I can reliably drop a ess and rub my glory to tele back to Edge before the pker even lands a single dds spec (after entagling me of course). Now that we have the operate funtion this makes it even easier. And if they use teleblock, i'll by safe and out of their range before they can get off another spell. Doesn't worry me a bit. Smapla
Perhaps they are trying to limit inflation. They are sucking at it if that is the case. Destroying a skill is no way to go about it.
aj926
I honestly don't see how you could be pked at that place. Is it that hard to click the ecto when you hear a magic attack? And unless you're naked (wear d hide -.-), I doubt a pker will get lucky enough to ko you in 3-5 hits. I just don't see how you could get pked rcing.
