Just my luck, membership running out as soon as Hunting was released..woot The funny/scary thing is that my membership ran out as soon as Construction was released as well... ... November 21, 200619 yr Just got level 5 :twisted:I cant even trap birds what did you start on? birds south or rantz with chompys. also id like to know the stats on the capes that lower your weight. red birds south of feldip hills are 34 exp I put the trap down then i wait ?? yea, when set up it has 2 options dismantle and investigate. if it only has 1 a bird tripped the trap but was not caught. also i seem to be lvling up reasonably fast compared to most here... jump around and move the thing as soon as its tripped or catches a bird, move 5-10 squares also the shore line seems to get me bird more then nearer towards the hills

November 21, 200619 yr Ok so to get started in feldip hills you go to the shoreline. You'll probably see a load of people no matter what server. You just set your bird snare and wait til the crimson bird lands on it or sets the trap and gets away. If he gets caught he'll just flop over you then go examine the trap to get your exp, if he flies off dismantle the trap and reset it. Very slow to start off with.

November 21, 200619 yr Looks a tad boring, I do however think that its the way a skill should be. Construction was made to put houses in the game and be a money sink at the same time. Hunting will just be a skill that attracts players to do it if they give good rewards. My main account has lost membership, however my pure hasnt but I dont think I will train this on that, if I want to do it I'll do it on my main. I am waiting until we see some good rewards *Hopes to see slayer-esk reward!* Edit: Been looking at the rewards and I think they will add higher creatures later on... level 69 is the highest level and the skill looks distinctly lacking. I think more will come after next weeks quest and introduce high level creatures that give better rewards. Edit2: I found out imps give you a "wish" this means it banks one item for you... think of the possibilities this gives... we have been asking for faster banking for things like mining for ages and this will greatly aid the skill.

November 21, 200619 yr 0mg this is the biggest let down ever u cant make money from it it dosnt help pking ,my god another rushed skill to please zeima =D> hats off to jagex for being lame =D> i dont find it much of a let down, sure catching birds isnt very fun, but the tracking part is sooooo fun!!!! 8-) 99 HP, Attack, Strength, Defence, Summoning, Ranged, Herblore, Prayer, Agility, Magic, Slayer, Fletching, Fishing, Woodcutting, Mining, and Thieving. Jagex'd out of my untrimmed hp cape on 6/14/2011.
