December 19, 200619 yr Very good. I suggest, however; that the clan leader be able to change the names of the ranks, Eg. King Adviser Elder Citizen Slave To give people more room for customisation. Do you ralize the amount of memory that would take up? Project Onyx Staff Writer. Stories, articles, and opinions, oh my!

December 21, 200619 yr Very well, that would be very very nice :). I read all the Behind the Scenes, and here are some quotes... Look! 3 April 2006 - Behind the Scenes Wilderness Tag features a series of pillars dotted around the entire of the wilderness, with players being invited to tag them, similar to the way the Agility Arena works but without the timers. Players who successfully tag all the pillars (featuring various levels of difficulty) are rewarded with a generous helping of combat XP in the discipline they choose. Be careful, though, it is the Wilderness after all. 24 April 2006 - Behind the Scenes If you're wondering about the Wilderness Tag minigame we mentioned in the monthly Behind the Scenes announcement, we've put that on hold for the moment. We felt that it could do with adjustments to make it enjoyable enough to meet your high standards. 31 March 2004 - Behind the Scenes New Areas: A large 'frozen lands' area including penguins, mammoths, polar bears and more. ... Summoning spells - summon skeletons, demons, etc...! ... Using the farming skill to grow herbs and plants in the grounds of your house. Build your own private party areas and shop areas, and more! ... Clan support, to allow you to optionally form your own clans with your friends. ... Randomly generated scenarios, where a new adventure is generated for you and your friends each time you go on it. Form an adventuring party and go on your own personal quest. Well, Jagex never release this updates... DavidRode
December 23, 200619 yr Wow, there are a lot of good ideas here. I mostly support this suggestion. 1) I won't pretend that I know much about the Runescape economy, but I'm pretty sure that Jagex is trying to drain money out instead of bring it in. I think that this suggestion would be a lot more appealing to Jagex if the reward for winning a clan war was removed, as it will begin to bring in loads of money similar to Pest Control. Staking could stay, though, as it doesn't bring anything new in. 2) There could possibly be a clan banking center in the Arena, or off to the side of regular banks, next to the bank deposit box. 3) I also think that your tabbed chat window idea is very good, and I hope that Jagex could implement the private chat into tabs as well in another update. It could be that the labeling of each tab would be "Chat", "Clan", or the name of the person that you private chat with. The standard color could be white, and the label blinks yellow when something new is said in that tab, similar to an IM program. The blinking could also be turned off in the options menu or possibly if you right click on the tab. Well, I've gotten off topic. This is a great suggestion, and you can count me as a supporter. P2P offers more and better ways of making money than f2p. That's one of the cons you just have to play with if you don't feel like having 1 bigmac meal less per month.
December 23, 200619 yr love this idea id join a clan if this was an update in runescape  but for anow im gona stay away from the clans Ex-Wilderness GuardianEx-Solace Retired from F2P clans indefinitely
December 24, 200619 yr 3) I also think that your tabbed chat window idea is very good, and I hope that Jagex could implement the private chat into tabs as well in another update. The blinking thing, if you were to go to world 2 or another busy world, in the afternoon, in a varrock bank, do you REALIZE how often the public chat would start blinking? Do you also realize the amount of memory this would take up??? I like the basic tabbing system, but any more and it would turn into a total nightmare....

December 25, 200619 yr mate i have a clanhouse suggestion that would tie in with this very well thought out clan message system, if you dont mind 8-) my topic about clanhouses discuss a combat reformation
December 27, 200619 yr I support this idea is very well expalined. 99 Hunter - November 1st, 200899 Cooking -July 22nd, 200999 Firemaking - July 29th, 201099 Fletching - December 30th, 2010
December 27, 200619 yr I dislike your current setup, because it's way to strict. The clan should be able to lay out their clan the way they see fit. They should not be forced to run a certain way, or have no clan support. I would suggest a rank/privilege system rather than your current clan ranks. Perhaps a grid, where the top lists various rights, such as kicking clan members, changing ranks, access to clan meetings, leaving clan messages, adding new classes, changing privileges, etc. On the left would be a list of ranks you add, and you can add ranks, title them, and select privileges that go with that rank. That way clans have a bit more flexibility in their clan setup. Want to learn to Nex? The Nex Hunters are recruiting! Click for more information!

December 28, 200619 yr wait... only one leader? I ran a clan with another guy and we had it together. And what about the leaders, i think they would need more tools, like view stats (to prevent false info believe me it was a problem) find player... in clan only though... world and city/area+action at the moment. And co leaders, have a find leader button, so they can talk to the leader in private, where the leaders is Also, officers could have a warning like... N00b15 is double clanning(this is a very big problem too!)... or something like that. or how about a clan house, created with the clan funds (bank account! for clans! officer and up) that has everything a clan need,s party area, bar and whatever else. these suggestions are meant to benefit, I am sorry if others have made these same suggestions, but they are needed to be said I'll show you how terrifying a true Christian can be!It's Xewleer: ZEW le ar, got it memorized?Hermit of the Varrock Library and its proud guard.
December 29, 200619 yr I like the idea, but I like the bank idea better :D Whats your average lv? viewtopic.php?t=615571&start=0&pos
December 31, 200619 yr good idea, i can see a few more thins that can be improved: a bulletin board somewhat like the ones in a bank, in which people have an option to look for clans that would accept them based on combat level also, people should be alowed to request to join a clan, and then the leader can approve/ deny it.

Not there yet. This is a suggestion that is collecting supporters and when we get enough, we will send it off to jagex, unless Chewchewbarz already has, and there isn't a doubt in my mind he will again. There is currently no clan creator, but there probably will be soon if this idea comes through.

As stated multiple times, PLEASE before you post ideas, think about the amount of programming memory this would take up!!!!!! They would have to create an entire new RS3 and upgrade the engine yet AGAIN in order to even be able to think about putting all of these features in at once. This is a good idea I admit, but it would take terabytes upon terabytes of space to program.
