November 30, 200619 yr opinion, i think they look amazin on some people :) but yeah if you get them you can't wash your hair or they come out. have to get them done at a hairdressers, probably a black hairdressers because not many white people have/know how to do them :P
November 30, 200619 yr I've heard that when you keep them long enough, you can't just scroll them open anymore, and you have to cut them off. Also, my drama teacher told me that when her son cut of his dreads, they were infested by little bugs inside. -> ew. December 1, 200619 yr I have really long curly hair, and the curls fal down like dreads, and over the summer of 5 days not showering :ohnoes: I had a huge dread in the back of my hair, but I pulled the hair appart in time before it needed to be cut off. My cousin had dreads but he got skinny ones made by his mom who's a hairdresser. I think if you go to a salon someone there could do it for you. :ohnoes: But remember, You might have to shave you head if you decide you don't want them anymore! :ohnoes:

December 1, 200619 yr From what I heard many years ago, you can get them done at a hair salon place...They use some sort of glue to get them to stay like that, then you cannot wash your hair for a month or so. After that, they stay. I've only seen one white person in my life that pulled dreads off. December 1, 200619 yr Yea there is a guy in my grade who has really good looking dreads. (and he's white) I heard people talking about how he got them and they said something about not washing his hair. I'm pretty sure he washes his hair now that he has them though.
