timmay929
Wow. That's insane. Idk how easy levelling it is since I stopped once I got to lvl 6. But that is some intense levelling. I wonder what the Hunter cape & emote look like. 122 Combat : 99 Hits : 99 Attack : 99 Strength97/99 Defence : 99 Fletching : 99 Woodcutting

Claremont
It's not overly easy (no easier than thieving, fletching, cooking, firemaking, anyway), people just play too much :P You can get almost any skill to 99 within about a week if you try hard enough/play enough. Anyway, i'm sure this'll be locked, because you used names. Think about this, I looked at his experience which was 12,999,965 and than I went to the toilet and came back 5 minutes later to find that he had 13,034,680 experience for level 99. And you say it is not easy? I would say 34 thousand exp in 5 minutes is pretty easy, at least when you compare it to some other skills. Sif go to the toilet... Crazy Old Man.R.I.P The Old Nite. Aus_Fighter
I feel sorry for people that can play long enough to get 99s in a week tbh. :? I kinna agree it's a little sad :-k Respect- Oy_the_Great, Lode, Bubsa, Weezcake, Thrash111, Gloric, Vmser, Pianofrieak2, Runemetsa Sigs Made By - Pink
TheLeader
Last time I checked, Darkforest was actually 700k exp away from 99. That was around 2 hours ago. I couldn't imagine playing that long without logging off. 2 hours is nothing to me. The ones that surprise me (and scare my bladder) are the ones that can go 6+ hours. Maybe they run fast and hope for the best while they are gone. If not, then I guess they have bladders made of steel. I would say that those hardcore gamers live by themselves and have everything in the one room: Computer, toilet, fridge, shower etc. No wonder they can play for so long  . Doubt it very much that people like that actaully wash... Merry Crimbo!Click on my signature to see my NEW blog! slayer369
Hunter is very fast exp. Its like cooking. Here are the requirements for fast leveling. A fair amount of exp at a user controllable or very high speed. Like woodcutting willow logs: 67.5 exp, and you can get 20 logs a minute. 1.4ish thousand exp in 60 seconds. Now stop and look at hunter 300 * 4 traps = 1200 and you can do that in 30 seconds, if you're lucky and use bait + smoking, but I'd average it around 1800 a minute. Or you could use kebbits in the falconry and make about the same thing, while developing carpal tunnel syndrome. *Numbers are not entirely accurate, but I did time willows =)* I've been talking to a couple people and it seems like you can get 85-90k max (75-80 normal :P) at 80+. Assuming it took him 1 day for 80, he'd have 10 days for 11m exp: 1.1M exp per day 13.75 hours/day Of course, nobody got 80 until day 2. So he played about 15 hours a day to get it. exodus20
Actually pretty much any skill can be reached to 99 in that amount of time. The only exceptions are slayer, farming and hitpoints. All other skills can be raised to 99 in a few weeks given you have the right amount of supplies. pkif
Why did these people race to 99 hunter? To wear a stupid cape, lol. At least the first few players to reach 85 slayer in a week were able to sell whips for 100 million each.

Triquos
i did a calculation of doing 4 boxes at normal chinchompas, being they're 198 each, i thought, worst scenario, 5 chinchompas a minute = 990 exp so ended up at around 60k exp an hour. say u have 500k hunting exp already, u need 12.5m (not going to be exact -.-) more for 99, 12.5m divided by 60k an hour = 208.3 hours 208 hours divided say, 8 hours (if its holidays, i reckon 8 hours per day) comes to 28 days. That means from level 66 (wot i am at the moment) to 99 it would take me only 26 days at 8 hours a day! 1 month for a 99 aint bad at all! although u would have nightmares about catching chinchompas for a few weeks LOL
deuteronomy_af
There's 3 people with it now, jeez they must be tired, especially that first guy, and his knuckles should be like shivering in the spelling of "91 Hunter, 92 Hunter, 93 Hunter, get off of my trap, 94 Hunter, 95 Hunter..." and so on His bank must be loaded with Salamanders and Chinchompas Lol I can dream can't I...
