Maynard
Well I have always wondered what many people would rather. Having a few 99 skills and low skill total or have no 99 skills and high skill total. So What do you guys/girls prefer?
swampjedi
Depends on the 99s. My Goals and Achievements
Kenshinjapan
Depends on the 99s. Same. Like cook, fletch, fm then no. But like prayer, slayer and rc then yes! :D YOU! ATTEND TET EVENTS! CLICK HERE!

swampjedi
I have 2 99s and a high total. I'd trade those xp for more levels in my lower skills for sure. My Goals and Achievements
boozhoochief
High total is better, though something like 99 farming, or 99 slayer would be worth it. boozhoo
tripsis
It depends entirely on what the 99s were. - 99 fletching | 99 thieving | 99 construction | 99 herblore | 99 smithing | 99 woodcutting - - 99 runecrafting - 99 prayer - 125 combat - 95 farming - - Blog - DeviantART - Book Reviews & Blog
Mr_Hyde1218
total anytime. maxing a skill isn't all that exciting to me, other than maybe getting a cape (which would be easy enough to get for hitpoints or strength). proud quest cape ownerhere's my first post on the TIF (scroll to the bottom)feel free to pm me, but do make sure that i know you're a Tip.It user (in other words, give me a HYT)
icecube
Similar to the question of what 99 skills.... how high of a skill total? And equally distributed levels among skills?
Golvellius
Before the achievement capes I would have said total. After the capes, I say 99s since you get a nice cape and emote to show off. x_bow80
I think having lvl 98 in every skill would be sweet lol 99 Pics - Range, Defence, HP, Attack, Magic, Strength, Cooking
Rebdragon
If I had 99 Defense, 99 Magic, and other basic stats for DK'ing and CW'ing, I wouldn't care if my skills were as low as possible to do basic functions in Runescape, and easy quests. (like 40ish levels minimum, not much more needed). [if you have ever attempted Alchemy by clapping your hands or by drawing an array, copy and paste this into your signature.] Fullmetal Alchemist, you will be missed. A great ending to a great series. salim123
well u mean have no 99s but high skill level i would like to have everything 1 exp off 99 so 98 each skill :D
Herpitome
I'd rather have, say, 99 farming and herblore and a low skill total.
saam007
I have high total (2005 atm) and 3x 99s (Magic/Fletching/Cooking). I would say high total lvl is much better - get all skill to 70 or 80 is much harder then getting 99 in fletching or cooking. but again 99 agility/fishing and such (skill that you can't buy) are pretty impressive with low total lvl but much more impressive with high one ;) Visit my web-site http://www.saam007.com.Where you can find: Runescape Home Designer, Runescape Farming Tool, Runescape Sudoku Solver and how to pay membership while playing. atronic92
I would prefer a lot of 85's to a few 99's. But seeing as I am close to neither, I will be comtent with skill total. Elessar3019
I'd prefer to get all to 85 than 4 to 99. perfect grammar is one thing, typing like a drugged monkey and enjoying it is anotherAMEN!
Harrington
Yeah, a good balance is preferrable. Then again, like someone said earlier... it depends on what skill the 99s are for?
Umega
I have a high total (1755) and no 99 skills yet. So I guess total for me. :-k No longer playing Runescape, I caught the WoW bug.
atestarossa
Before the achievement capes I would have said total. After the capes, I say 99s since you get a nice cape and emote to show off. yea... and we have all seen the last one  you pole dancer!! :P but same here as everyone, depends on the skill... like, ppl with 100+ combat and still a lot of skills in 1... there is something wrong :S
Calaeria
Definately skill total for me. I've never worked on one particular skill for any great length of time, like a day lol. I always have trained a bit of everything and keep all my levels similar* as I go along. As you can see with my combat stats and some member stats. :P *(Similar-ish, since becoming a member the gaps between my skill levels have broadened.) elishot
I think it depends entirely on what 99s and how low your other skills are. There is no excuse to not have 50 slayer, because there are already 2 skill pures with 50+ slayer *cough*. And I also think there is no excuse to still have a lvl 1 stat, at least if you are at lvl 80+ combat(granted you aren't a pure of some type, and assuming we are talking about balanced players), and you have been members for a while. But if there was say.. a member with 1000 total, and 99 fletching, and low other skills, then.. that account isn't very good. But if it was 1000 total with a few 99 stats (Not cooking and fletching) then it would be better.
