Worst: The Blood drips and runs though the vains of the fallen as he fills with rage. yeah... its a local band... TBDARTVOTFAHFW.

:-s Lunatics.

some of the better stuff:

Godspeed You! Black Emperor

Fun Lovin' Criminals

but above all: The Smashing Pumpkins and The Red Hot Chili Peppers.

horrible names: all those ridiculous death metal names. What's so cool about 'Slayer', ' Napalm Death', ' Cannibal Corpse', 'Anthrax' or even simply 'Death'?

you know, just because you dont like it, doesnt mean you can say what you did.

i myself think thoes are GREAT names. and very well respected bands.

this is all based on musical taste yes, but still, be reasonable. because all the bands you said were great, i can say they are terrible.

I thought they named it after Bob Dylan's "Like A Rolling Stone"?

That has to be the strangest list I've ever seen. I completely disagree with you saying that metal bands have a more 'creative mind' when it comes to song titles. I mean the ones in bold.. hardly original at all, the italicized ones are original enough I'll give you that.

Under the bad list, I would say they are all pretty creative except rolling stones like you said. By the way, it's Nickelback. :| Whats wrong with the way they named their band also? [/hide]

I personally can't think of any good/bad names at the moment, I'll have to edit this post sometime when I think of something. :-$

Favourite names:

1349

Avantasia

Behemoth

Deicide (the perfect name to match their [anti] religious lyrical themes)

Ensiferum

Morbid Angel

Muse

Nile

Obituary

Rhapsody

Least favourite names:

30 Seconds to Mars

After Forever

Anal C*nt

Angels and Airwaves

Death (amazing musicians, though)

Dragonforce

Fall Out Boy

Fightstar

Limp Bizkit

Nightwish

Panic! At the Disco

Sum 41

The Sex Pistols

I could compile a list of at least two hundred bands if I wanted to; there are so many unoriginal band names floating around these days.

I have to disagree with The Sex pistols being bad, it fitted the punk style perfectly.

Alot of bands might have bad looking names, but actually there's a story behind it which makes it clever or ironic etc.

Good

Dream Theater

The Who

Led Zeppelin

Bad

Dashboard Confessional

My Chemical Romance

Most bands with 'The '
