With the introduction of the new armours, how much do you think dragon will drop in price? Flash forward to 3 months from now: Guy was away from a comp for 3 months, comes onto runescape and says: Buying full dragon 20m! level 3: LOL!! Dragon is oly 100k. It is both extremely rare and expensive, probably shifting dragon to more of a "noobs third age", but since third age is massively expensive only a few can afford to buy it. Sure, more and more of it it's coming in on a daily basis, but it won't kill the dragon market, i'd predict the whole dragon set to drop maybe a million or two if anything. Dragon has been dropping ever since it came out. Barrows was a bigger threat than 3rd age ever will be IMO, it won't drop too much. If it drops under 10M i'm sure a lot of us KQ hunters will stop hunting or go less often causing more need for them. :D Currently not active on RuneScape. The maore you have on the market, the more the price will decrease. The more the price of 3rd age decrease, the more the price of dragon will also decrease. For the poeple saying that people won't go KQ again if price drop... I agree, but that will not affect very much the oprice. At least , less than for the fact that there is now a better armour. Don't forget that people also buy drags becoz they dnt want to always repair it... Same as for whips, even if the price has come down dramatially (certainly not anymore the best cash giver), people are still going for 85 slayer and camping there... tyme_to_die Posted December 12, 2006 Share Posted December 12, 2006 hmmm i think the only way the dragon chain will drop to a dramatic amount is if jagex was to release the dragon plate, but i dont see this happening now as of the release of the new third age items, based on the stats of the dragon and 3rd age armour it would be possible that the dragon plate, full helm and kite shield would make it have better stats than the 3rd age armour, causing it to go down but then again i dont see this happening and i think dragon amour wont drop much, if any significant amount but the chain will suffer the most.
