Most people in the world are lactose intolerant which means they can't even drink milk at all. But you wont get a 'food poisoning'.

Also, My_Eggs, if/when you get up there, could you please tell god I need the damn money already I asked for weeks ago. I'm missing a great investment just because I'm lacking a bit in cash. Otherwise I'm starting to pray for Brahma or Thor.

Most people in the world are lactose intolerant

Am I taking this out of context? Because, I really don't think most people in the world are lactose intolerant.

In our fridge there was a waterbottle that is normally filled with water. I drank a couple of mouthfulls then realised it was something alcoholic, bundy and rum or something. Wasn't expecting that taste

Most people in the world are lactose intolerant. The rare gene that allows adults to digest milk mostly exists in nordic countries and a small part of other northern europe. (And USA due to obvious reasons, people may have heritage from northern Europe)

Elsewhere in the world such a gene doesn't exist and the adults natively born in a country that is not north european will have a gag reflex/not be able to digest the lactose. But even some lactose intolerant persons can drink up to about one glass of milk without severe symptoms per 1 day.

There are also some populations though which have long traditions of drinking milk and the percentage of intolerants is fairly lower than that of, say China (93%). For example, some african populations have 20% intolerance rate, whereas others have near 100%.

I don't know any of my relatives that are lactose intolerant and I'm not nordic/european :|

Yeah, I have the same problem and wikipedia doesn't explain that. My heritage is half scandinavian and half south-european but intolerance occurs in neither half of my family.

Also, (I'm not sure which country you're from, always thought you're Czech judging from the little flag in your avatar) the statistics don't mention a whole lot of other people, like those living in the middle-east, russia, etc. who also consume lots of dairy products.

Edit- lol, I'm blind. The flag in your avatar resembles the czech one but in inverse colors. Sorry. Not sure where you're from.

I saw one site that said 100% of Asian-Americans are lactose intolerant

http://digestive.niddk.nih.gov/ddisease ... ance/#risk

Between 30 and 50 million Americans are lactose intolerant and certain ethnic and racial populations are more affected than others. Up to 80 percent of African Americans, 80 to 100 percent of American Indians, and 90 to 100 percent of Asian Americans are lactose intolerant. The condition is least common among people of northern European descent.

Are they serious? I don't even know any Filipino who is lactose intolerant.

According to the wiki site where it says 98% of Thai's are lactose intolerant, I think it says they only examined 134 Thais for the test, and only 24 American Indians.

That's not a very inclusive examination if they tested less than 1% of the groups (assuming I interpreted the chart correctly)

Milk + mayonnaise. I think there was a little bit of pepper in there as well.

I didn't keep drinking that.

Oh, I had a Big Mac + fries + chocolate thickshake from McDonalds altogether in a blender for some event once.. That wasn't fun, especially since I lost.. >.>

Cool.

Worst thing I've drank would be some kind of rum/gatorade mixture that my friend made. There were a few other liquids mixed in it but I truthfully can't remember what all of them were. It was bad enough that I couldn't take more than a sip.

One time after i had had alot to drink my friend mixed up a concoction of sweet chili cause, water and a touch of salt. Thats not the bad bit, after i thried to not vomit he came back and said "wait there some left" and the second it hit my tounge i knew what it was . If you know what you could confuse with sweet chili sause and water then youll know but if you dont then you dont want to.
