I never get sick. I don't worry about germs, washing my hands all the time, I don't take vitamins, I don't drink orange juice, and I eat unhealthy.

I think the more you worry about it, the greater chance there is you'll get sick :P

Not forgetting the more you exaggerate it. I know so many people who act like they've got the plague when they have a cold, hahah...

Yeah, especially when kids won't go to school over it. The only time I won't go to school is if I'm throwing up. Otherwise I just deal with it. I know some girls at my school who call their parents and ask to get called out if they get a stomach ache.

I really don't get sick but "maybe" once a year. Other than that I may have a headache or something every few months.

I don't really get sick, and this winter is no exception.

I only stay home if I'm throwing up, have a bad enough stomache ache, or by doctors orders. I know kids who go home because of a headache. I get those all the time and I just sit through class anyways.. <.<

Truth be told I used to try and get off school a lot, especially in the winter, just because I disliked school ;)

but yeah really overexaggerating illness is such a sympathy vote :/

I used to do that too until I started to like school which was just a few months ago. In 3rd grade I missed so many days that Child Services had to warn my parents that if I missed much more school they'd place me in a foster home. This year I've only missed 1 day and that was so that we could travel to see my great grandparents and spend more time with them.

Hah, funny story; my roommate a couple years back - weirdest kid ever. But before I knew that, he liked to regale us with tales about how when he got sick, he didn't let it affect him. No no no, he would go about his normal routine like nothing was wrong!

A month later - he caught a little cold; he was bedridden for four days :P

Normally I'm sick during the winter, but that's a thing that comes back every year (don't know the english word), but now I had that earlier (round september) and I'm fine now.

That's a factor too. Worry leads to stress, stress leads to a decreased immune system, so yes that's right, but after you factor in getting the daily vitamins and nutritions you need, being stressed and having a healthy diet, etc. is probably better that not worrying about it.
