I can understand that to some extent, you have a rather high total level for your combat. When I was rcing with the abyss, every 110+ pker that attacked me, excluding one, had a total lower than 1300, 2 of which had unranked totals.

But wouldn't lower nat costs benefit all parts of rs society. The bottleneck of fletching and smithing is the cost of nats. Wouldn't the "rising tide raise all boats?"

Yew and String prices have shot up, but not yew long prices, so I'm not sure that works.

Except the RCers. And if anything, RC needs to be trained more, not be the skill that no one wants to train because of it's terrible profit (or lack of it).

id say the quick accesibility of the abbyss is so easy it has to have some danger to it so i guess it evens out, i still hate rc pkers :twisted:

Yea, if the abyss was out of the wilderness, runecrafting would be WAY too easy. I mean, 8 months of nature crafting is a breeze!

I get really tired of people bleating that RC pkers perform some sort of valuable service to the runescape community. That's hogwash.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Yew prices continue to be between 250 and 300 even with hundreds of autoers. I'm not sure nature prices would fall much, if at all, were pkers removed entirely. Pure essence prices would see to that.

I hate it myself, it's really annoying...however, i guess you are going in to the wildy freely, so if somebody decides to attack you, you can't really blame it on anything else. Personally I guess, if they wanna pk rcers, let them have their 50k lol.

I think that RC pking is 100% viable. However, I also think that because people dont want to level their construction level to 50? they keep bringing glories. No one would pk RCers if all they got was a tele tablet and some pure ess. I also think, if people want to rob themselves of the real fun a good pvp fight can give you, then let them go ahead.

honestly, I am against it (even though i am f2p and therefore have nothing to do with this). However, I think taking advantage of killing a skiller is not something you should do. From what I know, the abbyss is an easy way to craft runes, but at a risk of being killed by a pker. Well, then it's the rcer's fault for wanting to go into the abbyss. Now if we check the wilderness map there is the chaos altar that is in the wilderness. So the only way to craft chaos runes is going into the wilderness. That sounds bad, but say jagex moved the chaos altar out of the wilderness, in my opinion the price for chaos runes would go WAY down. (in my opinion)

Well, I'm actually against it. Because it's an unfair fight against players who are helpless and if the Runecrafter Pker's get attacked, they immediately run, pray or tele. I always think they're that kind of newbie Pker's, who have just started, or aren't brave enough to kill people near Mage Arena bank.

 

 

 

No, no, no. RCPKing IS fair! YOU stepped into the wilderniss to craft those runes. Then the PKer comes, and tries to kill you. That is perfectly right, as it is the wilderniss after all! Ofcourse, those little kiddos with only such a low total level is only freaking the heck outta you, without getting any rewards. So what?

Everybody with 44 rc can make millions with, so what's does it matter, losing a black d set and a glory. I really doubt if most of the chaos comes from rcing. I get loads of chaos by barrowing, all mage shops have almost always no chaos left and there is a very little bit dropped by monsters.

 

 

 

I made 1K chaos twice in my whole rs carreer, and I've hardly seen anyother chaos crafters, I also haven't seen anyone yet making chaos using the abbys.

Well before you enter the wilderness, you always get a message saying "Enter at your own risk". Im all against it, but you know.. They stepped in the wilderness, so they have every chance to get killed. Its risk getting killed for fast RC'ing, or be safe and be slow.

First off, saying RC-Pkers help the rune-market by killing RCers is like saying randoms help the Rune Axe market by killing autoers. It's just such an insignificant factor in the grand scheme of things. From what I see, RC-Pkers (my level in the least) kill for the fun. If someone in the 115-121 combat range is making money by killing RCers that's just depressing. Hell, they can have my glory--they need it more than I do. But, if someone is killing RCers (possibly costing them dozens of minutes in getting back pouches) for kicks, you can't argue that doesn't speak very well of their character. Would a professional wrestler brag about mugging a 5th-grader for his lunch money? No. But you're right, that is a stretch. Comparing a RC-PKer to anything professional is a stretch. When I abyss RC, I expect to be attacked going into the wild. I don't care if I lose a glory. Half the time I'll get away, come back, and make a Mystic or Ahrim set off the deal. Never have I met a RC-PKer that can stack up to a real PKer. Total level doesn't matter in the wild, a pretty stat page will do you know good at Edgeville. I just wonder how the poor guys feel getting killed by someone with 400 more total-levels than them.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

So go ahead, RC-PK. Do it for the thrill, do it for the free 150k an hour. I don't care, after all it is the wilderness, they have every right to PK there. RC pking does seem a bit shameful to me, but hey, I've never tried it, and never will. I usually manage to get away, I didn't die once while crafting 10k natures... but even though you have every right to abyss pk, I'm still going to look down on you, possibly call you names, hate your guts even. So go ahead, try and kill me, and if you manage it, then you earned that glory. But that won't stop me from retaliating in kind.

Why would they sit there for hours in hopes of a single kill of around 100k when the very people they are attempting to kill make enough profit for that ammount of money in like 20 minutes maximum? And in the end, it's pointless really to get angry at them, because there will always be people low enough to do it; as my sig shows, it's just a fact of abyss RCing.
