Does Runescape Heal Your Stress?

Featured Replies

I was just wondering what heals your stress and anger on Runescape? Mine is stringing bows, because of the excessive clicking, another is probably Duel Arena, because you just duel others and it's like punching something in real life.

Feel free to message me on Aim or Msn, or add me ingame.

a good game of castle wars is relieving ::'

yes, specifically the rants board on the official forums, soooo many insane rants

Sometimes I find RS does the opposite of relaxing lol. When someone is deliberately being nasty or just trying to annoy you.

The most relaxing thing is the main "click and forget" tasks. Like mining, woodcutting, combat etc... these give me time to browse forums like this one :)

Suprised nobody has said pking, I love pking innocents that cry when you attack them, soooooo stress releaving. Then again some level 126 tried to pk me the other day, I was not amused :ohnoes:

Runescape never heals any stress for me, it's the game and thing in life that causes all my problems :ohnoes:

Yes, I find Runescape comforts me after a bad day at work wether it be woodcutting or fighting monsters for slayer. :)

No longer playing Runescape, I caught the WoW bug.

stringing bows or making pots, gets your mind off things.

I find the game is wonderful if you want distracting from life. You can forget about it for a while, and just become absorbed in a different pointless existence that, unlike the real world, is so easily measurable.

Nothing better, has to be played with public chat on friends though, otherwise it does the exact opposite.

Playing Runescape makes me stressed out.

Lol I agree at times it does for me also. :ohnoes: Firemaking and fishing tend to relax me.

Woodcutting relaxes me. It just gives me time to relax and browse other websites.

122 Combat : 99 Hits : 99 Attack : 99 Strength

97/99 Defence : 99 Fletching : 99 Woodcutting

I would say a few trips around farms to settle me down. Some woodcutting of magics, though the area sound of those make my ears bleed within one min (so yes, I turn the sound off when doing that).

Fishing at Burgh de Rott or Piscatoris.

In short, anything that doesn't involve lots of clicking and is away from big crowds will relax me.

Opening the barrows chest and seeing old, dusty armor. :D

:^_^: I drew that smilie, btw, along with a few more used by this site.

Classic bloodveld for lyph3! Although I do like the new ones.

Like a ninja, here I was, gone I am now.

BUT! I may be back! Add my new account, Dr Bloodveld!

Nothing on Runescape heals my stress. It actually makes it worse, if you can believe that.

LOL I don't know about stress relief; some tasks in RS are pretty stressful; but then again I don't play RS for stress relief, I play it for fun

For relieving stress, I like a nostalgic thing... Abyss runecrafting while listening to the Red Hot Chili Peppers (first band I listened to while rcing :D )

Or I just like to cook at rogues den, or Firemake/fletch at edgeville W99.

Barrows is nice too.
