Haitovich
Um well, if I died because I deserved it for not eating/praying/being prepared then no. If I die unfairly such as in the wilderness (with no intention of pking, rather training agility or doing a clue)/lag out then I get somewhat mad, take a few minutes away from the PC to calm down and return as if nothing happened MY BEST ITEM IS A BRONSE COIN! I KILLED ZEZIMA AND HE DROPED IT!

HatshepsutLecter
Eh, I will be pissed off for a little bit if I get killed runecrafting or if I die due to some stupid mistake on my part, but I get over it. I am not going to let the game ruin my day. On the bright side, sometime good stuff in the game can make me feel a lot better in real life. I was having a really bad day so I decided to go take it out on some cave horrors and finally got a black mask drop. Made the rest of my day a little bit better. twr_phr33k
I don't mix pixels and my real life together in negative ways. As the others said, when you level you will obviously feel proud/happy, but when I die in the wild it's no big deal. I usually just say "Oh cabbages..." in a calm voice. There's no need to be angry over dying and losing a whip and other items in a game. i think oh well its just pixels. a blue p hat is worth $600,000 if you sold each mil gp seperatley on ebay... ugh i havte it when people say its just pixeld It's their fault for buying an item for a game... Legally or illegally, that doesn't change the fact that time is money. If one dies in runescape, they get annoyed because their time was lost. Yes they lost items, but they'll need to spend more time getting them back. And most people value time pretty highly (although on rs, its less than you'd think). Whether or not an item is pixels, whether or not it really exists, doesn't matter. You're pouring time into this game, and if time is stolen from you, or you lose or waste time, there's bound to be an emotional response, just because time exists both in video games and in real life. That's what ties the two together, and that's what creates value out of 'mere pixels.'

Thats $2,400. Not $600,000. $600,000 for blue phat would be $1,500 for 1m gp. $600,000 = 100,000m gp. It's against the rules by the way. fearspudgod
Depends what it is. Like if i died/lost rs money, then no i would carry on life like nothing had happend. But if a good friend quit, or i found out somone was lieing to me...*cough* i would feel bad irl, just a little sad, you know. Also i tend to feel really bad if i "tick" a friend off on rs, ive been doing that alot latly and it makes me feel horrible. http://img215.imageshack.us/img215/975/70961xn8.jpg[/img]Playing WoW
