a new skill seems unlikely to me. All we're talking about, and know about is granite...which is not enough to provide a new skill, which would most likely be an add on of crafting

im thinking that he will actually improve your granite, make legs more worthwhile? I'm expecting all of this at the same time as that dagger stall.

Honestly I think that Jagex really has made smithing to a proportion to a point where it cannot be modified. It's way too old of a skill to be changed now. Smithing has been around since RSC, and hasn't been changed since. If Jagex also released a new skill it would be pandamonium. I mean, where would we find our total level?! THAT'S TRAGIC! :shock:

If anything it will be added to crafting, because I highly doubt smithing will ever be changed. And as for the total level thing. I like to keep track of it thank you I don't want it to disapear. NOR am I good at math. So I won't add it up.

No no no. Granite legs are meant to be a rare drop from skeletal wyverns. Why would it be able to be smithed?

Maybe the guy can modify granite to make it lighter, but at the cost of a few defence bonuses?

Well, if anyone here has done Enakhra's Lament.. They'd know granite had been mine-able for a while.. but still no use.. not even for statues in your house(kinda odd I'd think, but what do I know.. I'm sure limestone is just as good as sandstone & granite..

 

 

 

I doubt there will be much for granite armor making.. seems to be a bit unpopular for it to have much of a point anyways

Me thinks the making it better fit you could be a moderation on granite legs to make them skirts for teh ladies.
