Second, the new ones come with built in eyesight camera and microphone for chats, which is convenient. Also, macs dont get viruses. I can use limewire and not worry about a thing while my friends with PCs are out of luck when their comps crash. Another point is that graphics are naturally cleaner and sleeker on macs, way better for graphic design and things of that nature. One other thing is that now with software like Parallels and Boot Camp, intel-based macs can run Windows as well as the latest Mac OS. They get less viruses because there is a small user base verse pcs and hackers target the operating system that they can do the most damage on a large scale. Seen as bloat in my case. Also, macs dont get viruses. Wrong. You can argue any way you want, but this is the same kind of social engineering virus that plagues Windows users and you claim can't happen. Another point is that graphics are naturally cleaner and sleeker on macs, way better for graphic design and things of that nature. This is a matter of person preference and vision again. Macs are marketed as media machines, and it's clearly swayed you. A good LCD, video card and proper color tuning of the monitor will do just as good on Windows. My dad uses XP for all his photo work and does quite well. One other thing is that now with software like Parallels and Boot Camp, intel-based macs can run Windows as well as the latest Mac OS.
