i was stuck on tutorial island making bread all day long. almost quit because of boredom. until another lvl 3 brought me out and told me that making bread and getting high cooking wasn't all there was to runescape.

Random Events used to scare the kebabs out of me. :oops:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

My first ever random event was that Rick guy, who demanded I spoke to him..

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Of course I'm thinking 'What's wrong with that guy who looks like Zorro? Why does he want to talk to me?'

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I never spoke to him. After all, he was being rude. Then he started ranging me..And I thought I was being PKed. Yup yup. :?

i used to think lag was some1 hacking my account and when it'd make me go the other way that was what the hacker tried to do

i thought someone was a mod when i was F2P because they had initiate +throwing knives

Yeah, I remember when you could talk to people on f2p.

 

 

 

Well, when i first started, I thought tutorial island was the whole game, and i didn't know you could move the camera angle, so my camera was stuck behind a big oak tree :wall:

For the first few months of playing RuneScape I didn't know how to change the attack style, so I had like 30 attack and 1 strength and 1 defense. :wall:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Also, all the times of trying to equip the goblin armour.

I used to think I was pking by killing the Lvl.3 men in Lumby.Good Times... #-o

I thought th NPC's such as: Man, were real people. Lots of them. :shock:

Thinking my amulet of accuracy sold for 5000gp, then wondering why no one wanted it.

I remember making an account and having no idea what I was doing, so I just wandered around collecting things. For some reason I didn't trust the banks, so I just carried everything I collected along the way. I found myself outside of this weird temple and saw someone just standing inside of it, so i went in. I saw some wine on the table and thought to myself, "Hey, I may need this in the future" so I grabbed it. The other person just said, "Here we go." All the mages started attacking me and killed me rather quickly, so I made this account I have now because I wanted the things I got from tutorial island back, lol.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Other silly things would be thinking a highway man was another player attacking me and running like hell... loving mining when I first started, so I tried to sell full bronze outside of the shop in lumby and wondered why no one was buying it... and thinking to myself "I gotta figure out how to trim armor so I can do that and sell it."

cw armors had to be dyed...oh geeze... :oops:

1st time i logged off i asked my frend "how do i save?"

I spent a couple of weeks killing goblins in Lumby because I had no idea how to get around and I did not want to get lost. Got my combat up to about 35 that way. :P

Well when I started this game I though k means gp. So I spent all the day hanging on the marketplace buying rune stuffs with 100gps.. No1 sold and I was thinking like wtf? :cry:

When i was f2p, i thought f2p players did get full rune at christmas and members did get full dragon :wall:

i was an idiot i thoguht u trained agility by runing and that stuff until i found tip it and read all the stuff

well... I remember that I was a big noob back then :-w

 

 

 

First of all, I started on tutorial island and I didn't know what to do, I called a friend( who introduced me to runescape) and asked him where I was. He never did tutorial island( he started runescape when there was no tutorial island I guess) so I thought I was playing another game as he was or something :P

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Then it took me months to find out why someone had a yellow color in my friend list or green color :oops:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

And when I could wear rune, I always wore my rune long and I was proud to have such a strong weapon \

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Then I saw people selling/buying rune full for 35k and full rune for 200k

 

 

 

I didn't know why there was a diffence between the prices :wall:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

And then after several months of hard training/playing I managed to get 200K, so I wanted to buy something really great...

 

 

 

I wasn't sure what I would buy... a Santa hat or full rune? :ohnoes: :lol:

 

 

 

Never bought it though, I was hacked 2 days later and I had to start all from the beginning :(

i didnt know anything about the combat difference, or levels...and thought what is the - for in players?

When I first started I thought non-combat skills got your combat up.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I had to ask a friend why it wasn't going up. Then he finally told me.

i rember my first random it was a MOM and he gave me sum gp and i thought it was another player and i went running tryign to find him for liek 20 mins didnt relized he jsut poofed away :XD:

 

 

 

i gave up and 50cb lvls i found tip.it and looked at random guide and found that random lol

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

i also remem when i keep askin everyone whats my cb lvl lol didnt relized it showd u in ur skills screen

my friend kept private messaging me, when i didn't know how, and i thought you had to turn on friends on private chat, then just talk into the chat box. So i was yelling at the body altar "can you hear me!!!?"

I thought the whole place was one big city, and for about a week I looked for a place to mine and smith. The instant I did (Al-Kharid mining pit) I got killed by scorpions. That's when I quit for about a year and a half O.o

Hum...I was 30ish combat before I found out about the "change camera angle", and just after than someone showed me that I could click on the minimap to move. And then I discovered how Runecrafting really works (after trying "Use Tally --> Rune Essence" about a million times.) And then, while tracking down the Mind Alter, I finally found out about Edgeville.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

And then I discovered Tip.It and stopped being a noob.
