issy2
You school got closed because the bus's tyres got slashed? That's ridiculous. Or is it one of those places where everyone lives like 10 miles away?
VOV
i had to walk the 3 miles each way to school when i was a kid, my mom couldn't afford the bus fare. Psh, back in my day it was a five mile walk, uphill both ways. In the winter the snow was above our knees :notalk: I know the price. I pay it gladly. Ragen
Our school bus was set alight a few months ago. It totalled the bus and did considerable damage to the art block. That's the only major act of vanalism in the schools history (I think), although since I came there have been at least three incidents of spray painting and two bricked windows. And this is a relatively nice british school  Thanks Venomai for this super sig and Kwimbob for the awesome avatar!

timmay929
Your all happy now that you have the day off, but they are going to take that day and add it to summer or take a day off spring break. runescapeloser22
You got the day off because ONE bus' tires got slashed? Or did your parents just say "Nah, I dont feel like driving you." I mean, seriously thats the lamest reason to not have school ever :-k except for this one time I didnt have school because it was too cold :
Rebdragon
my kids walk the 2 miles now, but if it is raining or if they have alot of stuff to take in/bring home they can get bus fare or i can drive them. That actually doesn't sound too bad. Get some exercise, and get to school twice as fast as I do, while I drive. Parabola
i had to walk the 3 miles each way to school when i was a kid, my mom couldn't afford the bus fare. You're English yet you say 'mom'? I am particularly lazy. I drive to uni even though it's only a 15 minute walk.
Devilsdragon
2 miles is a long way, I walk slow so it'd take me an hour to walk to school.
Adam007
That's happened to three or four schools in my area in the past month, and they all got closed down for the day too. Kids let the air out of the tires though, they didn't slash them.

Mercifull
Considering a bus takes what... 50 kids at the most? Your school must be pretty small. darkmage099
Have you guys even considered that parents might have gone to work, so the kids have absolutely no way to get to school besides walking 8 miles. What about kids that have broken bones? The tardies and absents would be ridiculous. Trix.--quit WoW as of 12/07Thank you 4be2jue for the wonderful sig and avatar!
