Trobigod
Well some people enjoy the challange, I know a level 3 with 1164 total, 99 crafting and 39 slayer myself. I personally let people do what they want, unless it's rule-breaking. Of course, it's different in non-members due to lack of training spots and I hated them back then, in members they haven't caused me any trouble, just let them play the way they want, just as they (at least most of them) let you. Also, level 3 pure skillers have no access to Tears of Guthix since that would raise their combat, so there goes a part of easy experience away. FooK-A-Ji
u guys r totally missing thge big picture The point of MMORPGs is to finish quests, fight monsters or people if u just skill in games like RS or World of Warcraft, ur just taking the point out of the game if thats the point of the game , i pretty much finished it years ago :? Joes_So_Cool
I agree with all of the above, but also, it can be much harder for level 3's to train because of combat restrictions etc... But skill pures are becoming nearly as common as pures If not more common, I don't really see the point, i'd rather have a 126 with max stats then someone named I skil 4 life I with 99 fm. Always remember you're unique, just like everyone else.
pati
what's the point of playing runescape? to have fun what's the point of making skill pures? to have fun Computers will never be above humans because we made them. That's what monkeys used to say about us. l0rdbarney
What is the point with skilling pures, they can skill, but can we skill on our mains. I mean the point of Mage/Range/Combat pures is to own the wildy, but what is the point with skill pures Skill pures, no offense...... w00t! 100th post in tip.it ya ive alwayd definitely wondered this, this also applies to ppl who just make more than 1 "main" just cuz they get bored of it or something i guess they just get bored of seeing that 1 account, and being a lvl 3 cutting yews or something would look ownage(as long as they know ur not a macroer) pure:demon_x_king

Giordano
I really don't see why any non-combat stat looks more impressive on a lvl 3 than a 123. You get the same cooking/smithing/etc. exp as a lvl 3 combat as you would at 123 combat.Teleporting (Thats a big one), Quests, Slayer, Runecrafting, Dodging combat, Less HP for agility, Hunter etc... Being level 3 makes huge differences in difficulty That's not THAT big of a difference...sure having a lvl 3 with 99 skills was cool at first, but now it's not impressive. So many people have them its not like "OMG wow!!11". -.- Plus isn't hunter a non-combat skill...? "The cry of the poor is not always just, but if you never hear it you'll never know what justice is." RoswellCrash
I mean yeah it is cool to be level 3 with 99 stats in fishing and stuff, but it don't impress me any more then a level 126 with 99 fishing. It's just the way the have chosen to play I guess :? - Twitter | RuneScape FB Group | My PC
Freesia
Teleporting (Thats a big one), Quests, Slayer, Runecrafting, Dodging combat, Less HP for agility, Hunter etc... Being level 3 makes huge differences in difficulty Teleporting problems are easily solved by availability of teletabs... Strangely with WotLK so near, I wished I could delay it a bit to push through that last TBC content in MH/BT :'(.
Dragon_lord
Well, I asked my friend who's main is a skill pure, and he said that with the time other players are busy building up their combat levels, he'd level up his non-combat skills. 8-) That's a darn good argument if you ask me! =D> Pretty much what Dragon said.Thread terminated.I guess that means I'm the thread Terminator? Marvel Titan
Never liked skill pures just do the work on your main, a lvl 126 with 99 firemaking is better than the lvl 3 in my eyes because the lvl 126 has put in more effort and gametime playing this game =P~ Ex-Wilderness GuardianEx-Solace Retired from F2P clans indefinitely
Guest ShadowClawe
Here comes RayOxide again, coming to coomplain about how he hates pures. Anyways, like someone said, its easier to mine rune in wilderness at level 3, as not many people can even attack you.

It's the challenge that makes it more fun. :) ~ Clicky for the blog of No Cb Skils ~

Cloudwolf
Mainly because of the impact. You would expect a 126 for example to have a number of 99 skills. Where as, a level 3 with 99 skills, is well, suprising. Telling people that you got these skills on your own gives people a sense of achievement. Plus they look pwnage :) 'It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it.'Aristotle VVVV Blog VVVVhttp://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=742 ... highlight=

Dazzuh
Well i think looking cool and making people go WOW because your a level 3 with a cooking cape isn't good enough. To me it's still a lot of time wasted if you already have 60+ in the desired skill on a main account. Plus i've noticed most of the skillers have either Cooking, Fletching or Firemaking cape or a combination and no other 99 skills. Which simply put doesn't impress me anymore, just kinda makes me sad that they wasted all that time. :shame: =; Sorry, skillers. Currently not active on RuneScape.
