February 6, 200719 yr Well during the new quest i noticed that the arctic pines never fall down, they give somewhat decent exp and they're close to a bank, could this be the new draynor willows? Post your thoughts Your name is "bet you fail", and you're starting a business with your mom? I'm not even going to touch that.....
February 6, 200719 yr I have 62 wcing and the are pretty hard to cut and have no value. So I would say no
February 6, 200719 yr Maybe pine will be used for construction in the future 8-) that would be great...we already have evergreens, but they are used in one quest... :-k Click for mah Blog!- I'm not sure why you would though because i never update it Achieved 99 Thieving 3/10/07-992nd to it
February 6, 200719 yr Answer your own question by: Cutting Willows for 30 mins to 2 hours. Then cut Artic Pines for the same See what the cut rate is. Then figure out the Fletch XP and Firemaking XP compared to Willows That should tell you if they are worth it and what their value is. @ - Come Join SoDB in Some GWD and other Slaying! - @
February 6, 200719 yr Erm. The pines give 40 exp per log and seem fairly slow. I'm pretty sure willows give more exp and are faster.
February 6, 200719 yr artic pines *do* fall down and so far, you cannot fletch them in the way of using a knife on the logs and getting the fletching interface <the49ronin> O_o methinks ard is acting mighty high and pretty -.- <Ard_Choille> I am pretty <Ard_Choille> fo shizzle
February 7, 200719 yr They are slow and they do fall down, I had one fall after only 2 logs when I was going.
February 7, 200719 yr just make sure you take exact data, or you're gonna get flamed... : trees that never fall down? I'll have to try that out :-k

February 7, 200719 yr I found this when I was investigating the whole 'arctic pines' thing. Apparently, we've gained artic pines at level 54 but given up the ability to cut yews... February 7, 200719 yr in the most polite way i truely do mean the following statement in response to your threads question of are these artic pines the next willows... HELL NO Or...at least not yet (which is what i hope is the case) Hopefully these might beimplimented into construction some how later on but for now no these trees are basically worthless with willows still around Some Willow Log statistics... Appear to have a faster cutting rate Draynor bank is close by for easy banking 67 experience per log cut 90 Firemaking experience per log burned Some Artic Pine statistics... *trees do fall, like all trees* The bank in Nieziot (sp?) is slightly further away then draynor bank willows 40 woodcutting experience per log 125 firemaking experience per log burned CLICK - 770th to 99 SLAYER 2/4/08 - 204th to 99 Summoning 7/1/08 CLICK[Hide=List of Drops That I haven't updated in Years but want to keep in my Sig anyways...]VISAGE DROP - 12/06/073 Duo Sara Hilts, 3 Duo Arma Hilts, 2 Trio Arma Hilts.Dark Bows: (11) Dragon Boots: (50!)Whip Drops: (42!!!) February 7, 200719 yr They don't sound amazingly appealing from what I hear... I don't think trees that don't fall down would be bad because it would make macroing easier Doomy edit: I like sheep
February 7, 200719 yr Lol whoa, no yews! :o Anyway, I would stick with willows since they seem to cut way faster, and still the xp and value of them is better! Clanleader of the Guardians Of Fate.
February 7, 200719 yr I like those ttees, with 84wc its good to chop them and good to train firemaking
February 7, 200719 yr I'd still prefer willows, pines give only 40 xp per log and they seem slower than willows too (even at 89 woodcut).
