Alright if you have such a big problem about these items, just don't get them? Jagex is releasing items that it takes some thought and skill to get. If your wearing something like a fire cape people know your a good player, there is NO WAY that fire capes should be tradable. Same goes for rune defenders, fighter torsos, and this new helm. They show that you were good at that mini game, or quest. I'll say it again, if you don't like it, DON'T get it, easy as that.

Its okay if you are in the low level wildy - you may be able to get back in time to pick it all up but up deep you'll have no chance unless on ancients.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

If I pk'ed as a warrior I'd prefer to wear tradable kit that is easy to replace and get back into the fray to recoup my losses.

Well, guess we have no use for zerkers now? rats.

A good replacement helm for proselyte helm when you are meleeing metal dragons for leisure :

We're rebooting the servers to fix some bugs and tweak a couple of features of the new quest:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

- Webs should no longer disappear after you've slashed them.

 

 

 

- The fence at the sawmill should no longer disappear when crossed.

 

 

 

- The Helm of Neitiznot has become tradeable. However, players can only equip the helm if they have completed the Fremennik Isles quest. You can once again cast alchemy spells on it (if you want to!) but this will give you LESS money than it costs to buy another on the islands.

 

 

 

- Yew trees are back on the woodcutting skill guide. Don't worry, we're not deleting the trees from the game.

i'm no pker, but still... the thing that makes runescape pvp so special is the looting, there is very few games that makes you loose your items, and loot others...

but now...the question is....what will this do to zerker prices??? people already merchant them for 50-65k each..so if this new helm cost 50k to replace and it's better then zerker...will zerker prices lower?? it cost 75k+ to replace a zerker from the shop so the prices can't drop to much lower...

I sold my zerker for 60k yesterday, as soon as I'd compared its stats to my new helm (though I didn't know it was untradeable at the time). I don't know much about merchanting, but I'm guessing that, as the new helm is purchasable for 50k, that the berserker value must go down. Either that or Jagex will put up the cost of replacing the new helm, to bring it in line with the zerker.

the helms kinda ugly maybe they should make it so if u did th quest its tradeable so that pkers drop it and the other can take it if they did the quest

Think of it. Someone who is PKing some poor slob who only wants to work a clue, or complete a SlayerÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s assignment for green dragons is entirely self-centered. He thinks his plans for the other player is more important than the other playerÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s plans for himself. You want to kill green dragons? No, I want to kill you, take your stuff, and make you start over. How self-centered is that?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This is the same attitude towards the game. Every change needs to be about them also. They donÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t care if an update is good for the game as a whole. No, is it good for them and their PKing? If not, it is no good, should not be done, and somehow a personal insult. It is always all about them.

Many of Edge 1-5 is packed with pures, initate pures, rune pures.

 

 

 

They take up about 2/3 of the wildiness.

 

 

 

So this update will only affect 1/3 of people, and not many of them will use it.

I love the helm. Makes no difference to me if it's tradable or not because I'm not a pker. In the whole big picture of the game pking is but a small part.

If we lose pking we lose:

 

 

 

Almost ALL ability for herbalists to sell super set potions, anti potions, range potions, magic potions and sara brews, effectively killing the skill. It's hard to sell potions as is.

 

 

 

Almost ALL ability for cooks to sell cooked lobsters and shark. No one trains with shark or lobsters anymore with bones to peaches and guthans available.

 

 

 

A HUGE dimension to the game that is part of the grassroots and has been in the game since its inception.

Good to see Jagex are releasing better items.

Imo, this screws the game. I'm not a pker myself, but i prefer a good fight pits game. With the new helm, warriors gain an even greater advantage then first, while mages and rangers don't get anything better. i think they should also make a new farseer and new archer, since it needs to be balanced. Also....i hate the look off the helm so i keep my zerker for some time =p

Meh, I am not much of a pker and I do like the reward. I think Jagex should take more careful consideration into how they implement items into the game if it s going to cause such an uproar.
