It would be pointless for Tracey West to do it anyways without Jagex authorisation, because she'd have infringed on copyright multiple times with the pictures and would lose every penny pretty quickly from the resulting lawsuit. As well as that, she's a known author with many books and guides based around various cartoons and games, many published by Scholastic, which is also an organisation with a good reputation. Its probably called official because its been aproved and published. However, Jagexdid not write this. In fact, for Jagex to approve of it, it must mean the tips don't majorly benefit anyone besides new players. Probably not worth your money. Bobbington Posted February 7, 2007 Share Posted February 7, 2007 I was very weary about this when I first heaqrd about it, with it flapping around that world "offical", but it is infact real! i remember a discussuion about it on the offical forums, and Mod Ash responded, seevral members of jagex staff actually did help to write it, I belive even Paul himself was involved. It was written for free players because members is constantly changeing, and also the researchy they did found it was mainly free players that would be intrested in it.
