These low levels are, well - totally obnoxious. I blame Miniclip's affiliation with Jagex. Does anyone feel the same way? NuclearBB: Hmm, what's this? I believe that it was actually a general "Look at This Game!" sort of reaction when people started playing the game, especially when it became 3D. When you see something cool you want to share it with others and they do the same with their friends and family, eventually the friend of a friend of a friend will hit a more "undesirable" demographic (group of people) in the mind of the original person who showed it. I'd say don't let lower leveled people get you down, you were the exact same at one point (in respect to level not necessarily maturity). The game actually needs low leveled players to continue to play the game and to continue to become addicted. Without the throngs of new people coming in daily, Runescape would either collapse because of lack of funding or it would turn into an incredibly polarized world which High Leveled players would completely disassociate from anyone below level 60. It's plain ignorant to think that someone with a lower level than you is honestly less of a person than you. Calling people n00bs or n33bs or what have you does nothing to benefit you and can hurt others. Don't worry about people who are lower leveled than you eventually they'll become higher leveled and have all the prejudices you have about lowered levels and then you guys can romp through the fields and blame Jagex's desire to make money off of their creation. Miniclip just so happened to spread Runescape to many different sorts of players. It's not necessarily Miniclip's fault. Actually, it could be Club Penguin's fault. boffcheese3 Posted February 22, 2007 Share Posted February 22, 2007 In my opinion, yes. I found out about Runescape from the ACTUAL website, nearly 2 years ago. I remebered playing Rs Classic and wanted to play again. But at school, before they blocked miniclip, people found out about it, and then there was this huge contest to see who could get the best character. Now, I am the only one out of about 30 who still play it properly. Its now called "sad", by the people who used to play it themselves. P.S. I'm glad they quit. they were terrible noobs. No one forces you, yet you go to the forums and complain about this and that going "downwards" which at some point becomes just as pathetic, annoying and "obnoxious" as those "low levels" when your level does not affect how you think or what you do. In another words, level 126's could act just as those "low levels", especially since runescape has been advertised on miniclip for over 2 years now, there could be a fair chance of those "obnoxious low levels" reaching 126 now, not only level 25 and below, since 2 years is a lot of time, don't you think? I just saw some of the worst examples of the runescape community right on this thread. Just because someone hasn't clicked around as much as you doesn't mean they're a bad person. There are some immature people around, but the people that always talk about how "bad the community has gotten" and think of who to blame are just as bad if not worse. So how about you shut up and enjoy the game, maybe try doing something about it yourself? the community isn't bad, when you're talking about rude and immature people, you refer to only about 5% of the p2p population, and you just make it seem alot worse than it is.
