Greedom1
jagex is affliated with mini? Yes, "affiliated" as in a business relationship. When miniclip gets players (hits) then Jagex clearly earns several pennies/pences per click. Miniclip and its owners have no creative or organizational control over RS, they're more like a standard vendor of any product. RSN: Greedom1 | QP 248+ | Combat 116 | Total 1920+ | Skills 95 craft, 99 farm, 88 herb, 91 mage, 85 slayer Values? What do they mean?

Alex2828
I can't even stand f2p any more... I used to merchant willows in draynor f2p... I stand there for 15 minutes, and I get like 3 people standing outside the bank saying "its geting hot in heer so taek of all ur clohtes!" That happens for 10 minutes, and then I get someone saying "can i hav sum wilows?" Then I get someone saying "wats that weapon?" Me: "its called a d scimmy." The noob: "Can i hav 1?" Then "fre muny plz" Then "sum1 got my person and put all his lvs at 1 and tok al my mony can i hav sum stuf?" If it weren't for p2p, I wouldn't be playing. Lmfao at those few stories :P Yep p2p rox. But atm i'm enjoying doing thingsin f2p in an isolated place, such as level 35 wildy moss giants :) Currently: Quit Ages Ago

phata_elise
It seems that every time I am walking through the rock crabs to get to Keldagrim that they are more crowded with level 25s and downwards. These low levels are, well - totally obnoxious. I blame Miniclip's affiliation with Jagex. Does anyone feel the same way? So, basically, you are complaining that many low lvl players train on low lvled monsters? The world shouldn't get much weirder...
Aus_Fighter
lol @ this whole topic... These so called "noobs" that come from Miniclip pay the same ammount of money you do.. With out these "noobs" from Miniclips an update once a week would not be possible and i bet 90% of people that have posted on this thread would jump up and down and cry to jagex asking for their update... :-k Its 10PM on a friday night and there are about 86,000 people playing.. Jagex 6 years ago would not have dreamed of this.. If there is another chance to get another few thousand people from a site like "Miniclip" they would jump at the chance, Who can blame them.. RS will not last forever they will make the most of it while its popular, They wont even think twice that they are brining in more "noobs" You can't have your cake and eat it too.. I can't even stand f2p any more... I used to merchant willows in draynor f2p... Schedl
I found runescape through miniclip, too - at the age of 25, so call me immature for playing computer games. Why are people always complainig about Jagex trying to attract customers? Why are the community, ok, and they should listen to what we say, but still, they own runescape and can do with it what they want. So if one does not like what the creator/owner of a game does with it, one should stop complainig or quit the game. After al, Andrew G and his crew are making a living from the game and thus need new customers, so advertising on miniclip is ok in my opinion. Miniclip didn`t destroy the community, at least it was not their plan. But ranting all day and searching for scapegoats is not very helpful, either. Sorry for the long comment, just had to say that. 8-)
Mordendravid
They need to make a series of worlds that only level 90/100+ can enter to get us away from the drones of "whats my combat level?" i pormis u thers alot of noobish plaer whit thos lvls... dont juge player by lvls but an age world wolld be good tho.. but i dont see how that wold woork they just say theyr older than they realy are.. Like yourself. You appear to have a good account but can't use proper grammar to save yourself. I love when people like yourself fail to read people's signitures that say they're dislexic. Moron. Exactly what Pandaman said, in addition to being dyslexic the guy is also from Finland, how's your Finnish grammar jonmondalson? On topic Fresi1 also raised a comletely valid point about age vs. combat lvl which you've singularly failed to respond to. High combat level does not indicate maturity, age or worthiness within the game, nor for that matter does total level, mining level or any other in-game skill. Dharockslayer
Miniclip didnt do anything bad. Noobs getting into Runescape was but a matter of time, Miniclip only speeded it up a bit. Besides, In p2p there arent as much noobs as you would think. There are allot of nice people, but you dont hear allot of them, because bad news always attracts better then good news. For example, Lets say we get a topic about someone finding a red mask and returning it. That would get allot of replies. Now lets see how much replies we get when we go around falador massacring everyone. Believe me , waaaay more. This is the same way the TV news works. And if they annoy you that much. Battle them. Go stand at rock crabs with a cannon and report every guy who offensively flames you. You might become a moderator  Interrested in joining the cabbagy madness? dude_of_war4
its only the people under 13 that are immature and cant play to save their life People at mc forums thinks that the childish games like club penguin are attracting little kids to club penguin dont blame miniclip, blame club penguin that is one of the largest generalizations i have EVER heard i myself am only 12 but yes i think miniclip has made the community to cave in click my sig for my blog!!!Thanks everyone for the sigs they pwn!No. Why should i give presents for someone in rs?Most selfish thing I've ever heard
rodl
So if you follow "13 or over is mature" theory then if you are 12 and tomorrow is your birthday, you are immature, you jump around the house and do other things that are considered immature, but then comes tomorrow, and poof, you are so mature all the sudden you start acting like one of your parents? Makoto_the_Phoenix
I don't think that Miniclip is to blame for the influx of immaturity, nor should anyone place prejudice on them for providing Jagex with better than "word-of-mouth" advertising. I think it is the RuneScape community's fault that people are being judged based on their levels and maturity rather than guide them and make them (by your definition) functioning members of the community. ghostman
Miniclip attracted more younger people, most likely, due to other games that are on the website, and probably targets these younger people. I think though, that either way, sooner or later, more people are going to find out, and people of all age groups are going to be playing Currently P2P. Lenin64
hey, i use miniclip, its how i discovered RS, and i am a very mature and responsible player. i just dont like people asking where i got my claw.... and everyone starts out below 25, you did. Give them time to "blossom". However, Miiniclip does still attract, well....mini players, who are very immature. so i guess Jagex's affiliation with miniclip has ruined it.... vilageidiotx
I found runescape through miniclip, and most people dont think im annoying :anxious:. Miniclips games might be geared for younger players, but its the first thing you get when looking for games online, so alot of mature people will run across it to. Some people are like slinkies, normally they are dull, but they always give you a smile when you push them down a flight of stairs.

Aneron
:-k I could have sworn it was pest control that ruined runescape... or was it cook x and fletch x? You know why your level 25s are annoying? [Almost] all level 25s are annoying. They have not yet developed the maturity that you come to expect of people when you are in a community like tip.it. The people introduced to the game via miniclip start as level 3s, just like everyone else, and are obnoxious like [almost] all new players are.
