February 25, 200719 yr Not some big fan of wc.. I enjoy cutting oaks for construction purposes Strangely with WotLK so near, I wished I could delay it a bit to push through that last TBC content in MH/BT :'(.
February 25, 200719 yr i prefer cutting down noobs... it really gives ur super big ego a huge boost!
February 25, 200719 yr Yews. I like to AFK and chat on IRC and I can't do that with willows ^Sir Jem 05-The Bunny Drinking Blog?^ Click it!
February 25, 200719 yr Willows may be better exp, but yews = ! 6,521th to 99 woodcutting | Fletching 98/99 | Idarodo | Combat 90 | Total 1565+ | 38m+ total exp Retired.
February 25, 200719 yr willows are by far the better trees to cut if you're going for fast xp. If you want money, yews are the way to go. simple as that. always annoys me when people ask why a lvl 99 is cutting willows... :
February 25, 200719 yr When I was a low level, with 60 wc, someone said it took 10 minutes for a full invetory of Yew logs. Then I tried and I got none, probably because there were about 10 autoers around me. That's why I always used Willows for xp. :) So, willows \ Credits to Skully Sc for the signature.
February 25, 200719 yr Willows for xp, yews for gp as stated before. But if you cut and burn, which gives the fastest xp: Willows, teak, mahoganys or yews?
February 25, 200719 yr Yews... Not that hard to cut (anymore), and they're better for fletching. Cutting yews right now in Edgeville, W99 \ . > SELECT * FROM users WHERE clue > 0;0 rows returnedThere's no place like 127.0.0.1There are only 10 types of peoplein this world: those who understandbinary and those who don't.This statement is false.$DO || ! $DO ; trytry: command not found
February 25, 200719 yr I prefer yew due to the fact that they are less clicking required. February 25, 200719 yr Willows are faster exp than yews. Yews are better money than willows. I'd have to go with Willows, they bring in some money, and faster exp :)
February 26, 200719 yr I use yews. I'm usually viewing other pages while woodcutting and cutting yews, lets me do that. :P \
February 26, 200719 yr Depends on what you are trying to achieve. Havent woodcut in like 6 months, or played, so new stuff might have happened, but when I did it last; Fastest exp in the game is willows at draynor, at 91 wc and using a dragon hatchet it took a minute per load if memory serves me right. BUt then you have all those crappy willow logs, I usually burn mine, or sell 5 or 10k of them at a time to fellow burners. Magics are best money per hour, I fletch and alch them. slow exp rate though if you want wc levs. Yews are best middle of the road, you get decent exp rate, and you can fletch and alch, or just sell if that floats your boat...problem is EVERYONE cuts yews. RS name: lord krohn Combat 138slayer specific: 103 whips, 38 dark bows and 250+ dragon boots dropped to date.Dragon drops: 5 Half shields, 21 drag legs, 8 dragon skirts, and 9 drag meds dropped to date.
March 2, 200719 yr Willows because I know several good spots for them that are not crowded. Yews always have a tone of autoers/noobs so I don't like cutting yews. The Runescape Wilderness - Meili's Blog
