Not the bad stupid..the funny, entertaining stupid. [hide=Storyline and spoilers]So..there are multiple sides to the story. CONKER: You went to a bar to celebrate your 21st birthday, and ended up having fun with some guys that were going to war the next day. You have a mad hangover, get lost, and need to get back home. Eventually, people ask for help..so there you are. Wondering aimlessly completing tasks and exploring. Eventually, you find a purpose..to save Berri, who was kidnapped. PANTHER KING: The PK's table is missing a leg. Unfortunately, they are so stupid they don't realize the leg is missing..and as a result, the panther king can't set his milk down to drink. So, a scientist conducts an experiment, and finds that a RED SQUIRREL (AKA: Conker) is just tall enough to replace the missing leg. So there you have it..they're after conker.[/hide] If you read that, is that story not the most pointless you've ever read? Maybe addiction, I dunno... but it's definitely not fun. God, the average Runescape player mindset confuses me. It's like someone once being a kid, and then growing up and not remembering how a kid thinks, even though he was once a kid himself. I was in the mindset only a few months ago, the drive to pointlessly click and earn pixel money and numbers..., but now I just don't understand it at all :lol: . Ragen Posted April 17, 2007 Share Posted April 17, 2007 Well it gives you goals to work for, something many people lack. Thats the biggest reason for playing Runescape (or it was for me anyway). Most pointless game for me would be Tetris. It's just dropping bricks onto other bricks to make shapes which disappear to get a score. :idea: I see no point in that activity.
