Biabf
Hi, I just came up with an idea. As most of you know, autoers use the crown system. They see a crown and they autolog. I came up with a new thing to do while alching, sit at the yew trees behind Varrock Castle in a f2p world alching, every half a minute just say something. A blank message, anything. The autoers will log out and keep out! Ridding runescape of 20 or more autoers... I heard there can be up to about 80 in a world... Imagine if hundreds of mods decided to do this. All castle bots will go! Comments?

geoffreak
whats better than reporting the lot is to have a pmod in each world talking every few mins so the autoers get no work done. and then of course report the others that dont autolog First D-Drop on 7/2/07! mark_kim
firstly, the most commen thing to high level alch are yew longbows, but you can only do that on a member server.... mods talking does little to help, the bots simply log into another world very quickly and restart their programmed moves. thirdly, mods are normal people fourthly, the people left over that didn't autolog probably aren't botters... frizoid
You can't high alch on f2p servers, player mods are asked not to go deliberatly hunting out rule breakers, they are to play the game as normally as possible.
tefda
You can't high alch on f2p servers, player mods are asked not to go deliberatly hunting out rule breakers, they are to play the game as normally as possible. Yes you can. Not all macroers are using the same program. Perhaps they developed their own and did not include the "See a crown, log off" clause in it. Jagex cannot have their player mods who are indeed supposed to play as normal just mill about there because that's a temporary solution. We need something more permanent, dare I say it? Pure Yews? Something similar to that that will defer people from using bots to chop wood. Many suggested that autoers be stopped right after the Pure Ess bit that every time you click on the tree you have to solve a sort of puzzle or do a bank pin with a certain number. That would destroy power cutting/mining but it would work, that is until they figured out a way around it. I remember hearing a quote from somewhere that stated whenever Jagex releases some new deterent for Autoers, just wait a while and they've already beaten it (or something to that extent). Smapla
Player Mods are asked to not do witch hunts. Witch hunts are generally names for things like wild goose chases, and this most certainly is not. we KNOW there are autoers, we KNOW where they are, and we KNOW that they are causing damage. A_Citizen
What would partly solve the problem would to bring back Dr. Ford and put lvl 10 or 15 aggressive guard dogs back there. Bye bye autoers. Stallion4589
Player Mods are asked to not do witch hunts. yes i know, but its very fun. trust me. the satisfaction you get when you get to varrock castle, talk, and see half the world disappear at once is undescribable. another idea could be to have the king or queen back there, and they can talk every so often. when they do, they talk in the chat box, and they have a crown. either that, or the army of mods sounds nice. count me in. now someone give me something to high alc and some nats...
