I played in the regular quality for the longest time, starting in around 2002. After playing other MMO's for a few couple of years, the High Quality update had me interested in Runescape again, no way would I be able to play in the small window version again. It's just too small! Personally though, I don't have the advanced light settings on as they do look too dark in some dungeons, but outside they look good and really bring the game to life.



edit: Don't rag on 3 Hit U, he's been playing longer than the majority of the people in this thread. One of the few recognizable faces from back when I was mostly active.

I can't handle HD because my video card is a piece of... Well, actually it's a pretty good video card that's worth around $100 in its time. Even though it has an awesomness video RAM of 256 MB, I can't use it for HD because it's damaged somehow.

Seeing as how I don't play in HD because my laptop can't handle it, no, I dont take it for granted.



Hopefully, I'll be getting a new laptop around Christmas, one that's like. New. And stuff. So it's all good.

I hate how the menus work in Fullscreen, so I use fixed. I wish you could have full screen, but with the old menu set up

I rarely go on HD, I only do when I'm getting bored because HD makes it look neater. Therefore I don't think I take it for granted.

Personally; I dont use HD because of lag; but for the short time I did use it; I was like "wow". The only thing I didn't like was the outfits, they don't look as good in my opinion. Now, I think most players take the work that Jagex put into this project for granted, and just consider it as everyday RS life.



If you have spare time I would take the time to drop a compliment onto Jagex.

Im with you. The first day I tried out the resizing window, and just couldn't play with the new interface. I just find it alot quicker to use the interface I know and have played with for almost two years.

Eventhough I've played RSC, beta RS2, crappy RS2 and the new HD, I wouldn't really want to play RS anymore if it went back to Low Detail. It's just unbelievably crappy looking

I've played through all of those too, and I agree. The graphics update is a very big step forward, and it improves very much upon the old graphics. :' />
