November 15, 200916 yr Nah, I don't really like it. I won't begin to play it at all, however, if need be I will try and keep access to it. RIP Michaelangelopolous
November 15, 200916 yr I'll log in occasionally when I get bored but I don't plan on power training anything or really putting a lot of effort into getting high stats for my character. It was cool to try out but not something I will play as much as the current Runescape. Pyramid Plunder Guide Tip.it Forum Rules Adventurer's LogThanks to Cowboy14 for the awesome sig!
November 15, 200916 yr Although I've been playing RS pretty much from the start, I wouldn't ever want to go back. It's just an extremely outdated version of the game. I don't know why I'd want worse graphics, less content and less handy features. Twitter ||| Google+ ||| Facebook ||| LinkedIn ||| My very interesting weblog about science

November 15, 200916 yr I'm not going to return. I logged in and looked at my naked self in Lumbridge. I made my way to the nearest bank, in Draynor was my guess. It was cleaned. Sure, I was a level 72, but I felt violated. None of my items were still there. If they magically restored whatever items I had when I left, I'd go back. But as it stands, I won't be playing RSC for more than a few hours.

November 15, 200916 yr Yes, but I don't intend to play regularly. I lost my original access although I've played since early on, kind of a pain since players who never even stepped food until they started an acc in rs2 have access to world 1. Aslong as a veteran cape doesnt come out for world 1, and those rs2 played I spoke don't get it I'll be happy lol. Shame Jagex never warned players before they shut it originally <_<
November 15, 200916 yr Didn't lose my original access but it has inspired me to spend a bit of time on it here and there to slowly finish up Legends quest, that was my final goal of RSC that I never achieved. And it also stops my friends from dangling it above my head with all those years of them saying how much better than me they are for completing it when it was harder!

Yes I died 4 times on that, the demon kept draining my prayer, although it was over 6 years ago I remember losing 2 friends rune hatchets because you HAD to use a rune one *RAGE* (I went hard route and had to fight demon 3 times wasn't fun lol) You'll be in my prayers
November 16, 200916 yr I went to play as soon as I heard it was open again. I played it a couple times before they shut it down just for certain members. Now I come back, and I just find the newer runescape more fun. I also like not failing at firemaking and woodcutting. It's more realistic, but I'm used to how the newer runescape is.
November 16, 200916 yr Author Shame Jagex never warned players before they shut it originally <_< From what I heard, they did, but poorly. I believe it was a sticky posted in the RSOF somewhere for about 6 months. I suppose they didn't really want to get everyone and their dog back in the game they weren't even playing before they closed it to new players?
November 16, 200916 yr I'm going to play. I'm not returning as such, I never was around when they released it (I started late 2005) but I will stick to it now. I'm having an extreme amount of fun! Because I won't be on RS2 for a while, I shoud sell some of my stuff and purchase a rare. Wise decision?
November 16, 200916 yr I'll just focus more on keeping access this time. However I will not put any serious time into it. After playing windowed HD I just can't stand tiny screen of classic. The only way to make it large is to drop my resolution from 1680x1050 to 800x600, which isn't very convenient. It was once great, but it's a thing of the past to me. That, and my stats on classic are (1/30/1/42) (att/def/str/mage) and being that I have absolutely nothing, training my character to be a better tank is just too much a PITA. Especially since I have no runes, which are extremely hard to get. I still with RS2/HD. :) FairTraders.net (Merchant Guides + Grand Exchange Update Notifier)Get FREE Grand Exchange updates through the website, by email, or through your mobile device!
November 16, 200916 yr If fatigue wasn't in there I'd play it from time to time. But as long as it's in there I won't.

November 16, 200916 yr No, I did make an account there though.I just can't see the fun in playing with such poor graphics and what else.I have much more fun in RSHD. :) Proud (retired) Tip.it Times Editor! Tip.it Times Archives TET event forum
November 16, 200916 yr I will keep the account for when I'm tired of skilling at RS2.But I have to say when I'm on classic, its good fun! ^^My blog !^^

November 16, 200916 yr Well I logged in, walked around a bit, dueled a few and logged back out. Still, I had all the levels that I had on the day RS2 launched over 5 years ago. It could be fun going back and trying to remember how things were done in the old days, but I don't think I'll give it much focus. The newer version has evolved to be supreme in almost every way. What lacks, is pvp system, which I don't care much about anyway :razz:Voted number 2.
