A question (blind and deaf people)
I would have assumed that the optical or auditory portions of the brain might still be functional and thus active while dreaming. But, if someone where blind from birth or deaf from birth (100%), then I would expect those portions of the brain to never develop which would mean they would not see anything or hear anything while dreaming. I don't see why being able to hear or see is reqired to dream, there are still 4 functioning (3 if your both blind and deaf) senses to work with. You would probably see random colours or hear random sounds if you lost a sense after birth. You use the areas of the brain related to the sense to dream as far as I know, so not having eyes would mean nothing if you lost them at one year old. I find it interesting how people blind from birth can still grasp the idea of perspective. There have been studies where they find the blind person using their hands moving them back and forth for a while and then drawing two objects in perspective. Thats just incredible.

[DevBlog] Trust Us, We're QA
The game must be incredibly hard to test and trouble shoot. Everything is connected. For the teleport bug, it is quite possible the onle reason it existed was related to another activity elsewhere in the game. Some completly unrelated event, maybe a minigame, caused the problem. All this would have been inactive areas of the game during the test, but once active was causeing problems elsewhere. Maybe the server load itself was the problem. Would be nice if they said, but chances are it was not an obvious problem.

How Do You Organize Your Bank?
My system makes about as much sense as english spelling rules. Chalk full of exceptions. I also have tabs that are dedicated to types of items and tabs for certain skills. Tab1: Other, money, gold bars. By far the largest tab, probably 1/4 of the bank at least. Everything I couldn't sort goes here. I mention gold bars because I have a couple hundred that I rarely use, and are in the second slot right next to my coins. All my ores and bars are in here, along with materials for many other skills. Organised by date last used unless theres a placeholder. I could probably remove the top 2 or 3 rows and never notice (well, getting rid of stuff would be a sure way to need it a week later). Tab2: Costume is the best description. Equipable stuff that is not primary gear grade, or is not combat in nature. A couple rune weapons, Tai Bwo Wanni clothes and machete. The other tab for wearable items. Tab3: Primary Combat Gear. This is full of items that can go in other tabs (armour could be in 2, and jewlery has its own tab too). I keep it here so my best gear is on one tab that dosn't scroll. Dragon, Guthans, furry, salve (e), lunar when not in my house all go in here. Tab4: Non-melee combat gear. Except for runes, all ranged and magic stuff is in here. Thats armour and weapons (ranged ammo and cannon too) are in here. Clay armour also goes here. Tab5: Stackables. Runes, herbs, keys, gems and essance are all in here. Tab6: Potions and Jewlery. All jewlery not in primary combat (mostly teleporting stuff) goes here along with all completed potions, and the prayer book (used to cure poison). Tab7: Summoning and Hunter. All summoning and hunter related items are here. Traps, camoflage, shards, pouches, pets. Exception: Hunter bow and ammo in tab 3. Tab8: Collection and selective other. Things involved in skills like pick axe, hatchet, harpoon, knife, chisel are all in here. The other comes from buckets (oddly the sand filled ones are in tab 1) and emtpy and filled vials. Tab9:Junk drawer. This is all the books I have from quests that won't go in my house. Also my penguin spy book and the few that are useful (lil book o piracy).

Top essential quests to complete
I don't know the quest names, but the quest calc can show all the quests rewards on one page so you can find them. These are the rewards I most value: -Use of spirit trees and gnome gliders. -Unlock ardy, watch tower, ape atoll, and trollheim teleports. -Unlock hot air ballons -Access to mortania -Access to tiranwyn (elf land) -Access to Zanaris -Use of fairy rings -Ectophial -Ancient Magics -Lunar Magics -Miscelania and Etceteria kingdom (kingdom management minigame) -Access to port phasmatys -Charos Ring (a) Everything there is useful, though I disagree with the idea of questing for rewards. The quests are fun, the rewards are bonuses (though I'll admit I choose some of my first quests for rewards that would make my life easier).

Portal room focus/pool
Just some extra information you may use int eh future: If you remove a portal itself while you have a focus, you can rebuild the portal (into something thats a higher level) and you won't need to refocus it. Do that without a focus/scry, and you lose the portal.

18th August 2009 - Menagerie, Familiar Controls and Butler
I had to nuke my house to make enough room to re-arange it. I am going to leave my throne room as is, and instead the north part of my house looked like it was bombed (I took out 5 rooms, 3 of which were second floor). I am now short a combat room, 2 quest halls, a skill hall (I had 3 of each for some reason) and a parlour. I rebuilt the parlour a square north to enclose the menagerie in the house. Now it just looks like im avoiding cursed living space. I am just glad both my studys, my chapple, port chambers, and throne room are intact. I have other planned uses for my money and wan't to keep to a 1m reno costs. And you can have your servant follow you upstairs. Awsome for me because I had the bright idea of sticking a demon lecturn up there and i'll be dammed to move it (over chaple so its not like its at risk from below. On the plus side, if I get rid of my formal garden and replace the new parlour with another one, I could build a 5 room dungeon.

Where would you place a teleport?
F2P and even members there have been a number of times when I wished to have a tele to ice mountain. But that would be pretty limated. I would place the mems tele in Gu'Tanoth so that I would take advantage of the spa pools far more often.

Do you read all that jitter-jatter in Quests?
Half the quests I do are for the story. If there not unlocking new areas (most prized reward by me), and even if they are, I still wan't to see the story. I took a great number of screen shots in hypercam while doing the ghostly robes mini quest. Combined with a pic of the first for text boxes (before realising this would take forever to crop), I have the entire transript in almost entirely video format. I just slow down the playback speed and view it frame by frame if I wan't to see it.

Controlled XP
Controlled works if you hate the scim and can't buy an SS. I used to train like this, but the agony of the speed was pretty bad. I had it so that my str and att skills were within a couple hundred xp of eachother, and my def level was one lower. Granted, it spared me the pain of training def (since the added def bonus seems to make everything hit me more while nukeing any chance of an accuracy or damage bonus), and even with an SS I don't like str training (probably because I feel dumb if I wear my black elite, and I rediscovered my rune def being superior than a d sq against ankous). As a result my nicely balenced skills are now 80/79/78/79 (I think) for str/att/def/hit. There is a reason other than lost xp to not train controlled. If your stats are all at the same xp, then it takes 3 times longer to level on controlled (all skills gain the same xp rate as HP). The advanatage of doing them one at a time is that as you level each skill, it makes you better in combat in some way and presumably helps you level up your next stat a bit faster. I figure over time, this actualy does add up.

Elf Quests
I don't remember very well anymore, but I would guess 1.5 to 2 hours for teh first 3 quests. Thats probably a bit more time than it takes (with a guide at least), but it depends on how much (and if) you use a guide, what items you have saved from other quests and whatnot. For MEP2, I would peg it in at 2-3 hours.

Am I really that bad?
I say this for two reasons. First is I consider it true. I always keep two spaces open but those are to respond to the random (yet sometimes important) pms I get. Actualy, most of the pms are clan chat generated so not entirely random. Anyways, I won't permanatly occupy those spaces without permanatly deleting other people (I estimate over 30 names are still on the list that I don't talk to anymore and wouldn't bother even if they did log on). I could add people, but I have reasons not to. Sometimes I will explain I need to keep a space free. People also say this because if you say no you are implying youdon't want to talk to them again, or that you don't actualy like them and have only been humoring them with conversation. Saying the list is full achives the same result with alot less hurt feelings. I only say no if the person is someone who would probably annoy me.

Aviansie Tanking Guide
Its over 300 rank to imbue, and a quick look at the highscores shows that only a few more than a thousand people have the needed rank to imbue.

Postbag, Gallery and Wallpapers on Aug-05-2009
For the shorthand I get: uv b tw abt wr L ws. Nmd is to frd. L and Nmd are almost certainly proper names as there marked capital. I don't know what tw is. I thought it was 'to', but thats written correctly on teh next line. Maybe its 'too'. Who is Nmd? Is L lucien? You've be _ about where L was. Nmd is to forward.

catching hell rats
Hell rats blow pretty hard with a cat as it is. A kitten is pure madness. Don't catch the rats with a kitten unless you just want a hell kitten.

Before the Trade Limit update.......
Some guy died running through ankous. The drop I remember was the 11k fire runes. I still have way more fire runes than all my other runes put together. The runes I use are always replaced by various monster drops eventualy. I think I might have gotten 100k-200k selling the other stuff too, but I think I kept alot of teh stuff (mostly runes anyways, like a couple hundred of a few types).

your getting picked on because you got d claws!!!
After suffering months of being pj'ed, pk'ers everywhere will not hunt everyone useing d claws (especialy if they dont have armour, thus looking like 1 itemers), because the joy of making someone lose their claws will help make up for all the suffering at the hands of pj'ers. For a while at least, I would expect d claws to be like a big bullseye painted on your front and back.

how does new update stop 26kers?
Why would you assume its ment to stop 26kers when the update obviously does nothing to combat it (oh wow, it costs 50k more! spooky :o ). What about 1 iteming, especialy people who do it so they can pj with d claws. People hate them so much that they risk being mobbed if someone notices what they are doing.

Omni Talisman.
You get experiance for each talisman you show. You probably forgot one. You need the talisman for every type of rune except lunar, as there is no lunar talisman (you also don't need a soul rune which also does not exist).

11-July-2009 Jagex Security Key Response
The system will only work for people who still have secure accounts. You are going to need to give them your mailing address at least. There will probably be a code mailed tpo you that will allow you to change you mailing address. For compromised accounts, it is likely some of them will have the device sent to the 'hacker' and have the account lost for ever.

Bones to peaches
A few 100k I think. It depends on how you do it too. There is a really good guide in the archive of wisdom that can answer your question though. The complete MTA handbook (I think).
