  1. Go to a pub obviously, safest place. Wait...wrong disaster...
  2. Is your fire ditch plan dependent on the zombies being the slow, staggering type?
  3. Maybe they would want to take out the country's dairy stockpiles.
  4. Well then you must not be working very hard :P
  5. I've set myself a goal of learning Finnish before graduating University. I took a class in it last year, and really liked it. And I managed to visit Finland for a bit too, that was good for learning some new stuff.
  6. *Summons McCarthy from the dead* Now the U.S. is perfectly safe, you can thank me later.

    Flag Burning.

People keep posting that they could think of more productive protests, etc. Personally I think burning/destroying a flag obviously works well as a protest, because it gets so much more attention than if you do something else, like picketing, or petitioning or whatever. Even if the attention is negative, your protest will be very widely known, and you'll get the attention you're looking for.
  8. On newer airplanes, if it's a long international flight, often you will have a personal TV screen, where you can select your own movies. And not just in first class :P I usually end up sleeping, even if it's day. I used to get nauseated on planes, so I started taking Dramamine for them, which has a pretty strong drowsy side effect. I discovered that I don't really feel sick anymore, but I still usually take one. If you can't sleep, things like sudoku, or logic puzzles are good for passing the time. I have an eight hour flight to America at 5 am tomorrow in fact. I should be able to sleep anyway on that, because I'll have to get up at the latest at 3 am to get to it.
  9. It could have been worse. http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,146980,00.html Food and siblings just don't mix, do they?
  10. Why does everyone think "skiller" means a level 3? I consider myself a skiller, and I'm level 115.
  11. It was written as if Grand Exchange merchanting was impossible. This is not the case at all, you can make a lot of money with merchanting through the Grand Exchange, maybe more than normal merchanting. I know people who have made 400m+ in a month. It just takes a little more skill in picking items.
  12. People keep jokingly saying "nice "little" levels". What's that referring to? :s
  13. Runecrafting today, while it's still profitable. Thanks for posting you two.
  14. A bunyip replaces guthan's effectively at 68 summoning, which is an easy level to get.
  15. I'm a no-lifer often. But really, it's just me playing in my free time. The most no-lifing I've done is 900k agility experience in a day, but it was for a clan skill war. I wouldn't do that for normal playing, it just doesn't feel good. I don't see a problem with no-lifing, it's a person's choice what they do. I often see people preaching about how bad it is, and then referencing some idiotic study about how unhealthy gaming is. I hate these people.
  16. Decided to redo my blog, maybe it will actually get posts this time :P Stuff I got in the time that I haven't updated.
  17. Where did you get your teak experience/hour rate? It's more like 60-70k an hour. Dorgesh is faster experience if you really concentrate, but it's harder to keep up then ape atoll. There aren't really places where you can stop and type or something like the fine swing at ape. Also, it's not a very nice place to be for an extended amount of time. It's really dark (even with lighting settings off), the graphics look sloppy, and you can still fail at 99. I did a 6 hour autolog there, going at a pretty good pace, averaged out to about 50k an hour. So it's really not much better than ape atoll. One bonus of going there though is you use a lot less super energies.
  18. Well, I would want to live somewhere in Oulu, and preferably do work with the university there. I'd be happy with a relatively small house/apartment, and not a huge amount of money. I'd also like to have a summer cottage somewhere on a lake (a must in Finland, tbh). I'd would need to afford a nice computer though, and a fair amount of books. So far that's it.
  19. Sorry you aren't doing too well Saru :( About your comments on the "/b/ trolls"; they're mainly people who desperately want to be known as /b/tards, but most people on /b/ will reject them for being fake. So they come here, hoping that if they're known as being from /b/, they'll seem cool :P I'm not saying real /b/tards are good either, but they're at least better than people who just want to look cool. Did you mean you're quitting runescape, or just retiring from owner of blogchat?
  20. Thanks everyone. And more than 3 posts :o Better than my 99 magic post.
  21. Hey Darlo, haven't seen you in the cc for a few days. Nice job.
  22. Could someone index my picture? Page 17.
  23. Out of curiosity, where did you see these things being said? I have never said any of them said seriously. And Newge was joking...
  24. From reading a lot of posts on this thread, it seems like some people just get refills and drink a bunch of soda just because they can, not because they actually are thirsty.
