  1. Smear it. On your face. A chest of treasure too heavy to carry.
  2. Well, I like the idea. It compliments the Bonecrusher nicely. However, I would reserve further Dungeoneering suggestions until batch 2, for fear of being obsolete when that happens. Heck, this kind of reward might have been in the pipeline all along.
  3. Primal Maul was added, too. I was studying the Dungeoneering KB article harder than my homework yesterday, so I'm 100% positive. Sweet. I can't wait. Anything deeper than level 35 is going to be a serious challenge though.
  4. My brain imploded then exploded again. Then I realised that I had to make another Body Bar. There were no survivors.
  5. North Korea has stopped all communication with South Korea now, without U.S. support. Oh boy.
  6. No, a good human being should respect the freedom of others and grow a sense of humor. For goodness sake, Jesus is mocked and satirised so much, and Christians almost always accept that, and even laugh with the makers. If they protest, they can, but they should grow a sense of humour too. Yes, you can burn flags if you like, if you consider it an apt way to make a statement. You have to learn to bite these bullets, because otherwise you will only get fired at more.
  7. Just because Java is used in a lot of places doesn't make it good. (I personally feel its mediocre - very middle of the road. Would never consider it if it weren't that it can go on almost any platform) Well, of course. That's the point of Java in the first place. I wouldn't use Office if I couldn't open documents on it.

    EDIT: Nevermind.
  9. Removing it will increase the already large amount of rants and decrease the already decreased Jagex reputation. The game has been crying out for randomly generated dungeons for years. It's a good skill, especially considering that we've got Batch 2 (remember Summoning?) coming up. It only reinforces Jagex's reputation of making some extremely complicated and advanced content from Java. It's mind boggling. I don't mean making dungeoneering; I like it actually. I was talking to that idiot I quoted. Oh ok, I apologise.

  11. Monkey Madness is more legitimately dangerous than most quests, and I'd still consider it one of the top 5. In most other quests, if you mess up, you just have to do something again or just get back to your gravestone. In MM, it's nigh on impossible to get back if you die in the middle of the town. For that reason, I'd consider MM a harder quest than Nomad's Requiem.

Why on earth does it matter? I like chilling at various places and doing stuff that people would probably call 'inefficient'. It's called having fun.
  13. Yes. Please crash, please crash, please crash...
  14. After using MTK with Royal Trouble, I no longer bother picking up those coins, because frankly they don't even add up in comparison. If it was piles of over 1K I would consider it, but anything less and it's a waste of time. It helps that piles over 1K look different on the ground compared to piles less than that.
  15. The processors in laptops these days should be the least of your worries (for Runescape, at least). For a better Runescape performance a dedicated GPU is what you are looking for. whats GPU? im looking under the specifications on these laptops and don't see anything under GPU GPU stands for Graphics Processing Unit. It's probably just listed under 'Graphics'. Runescape is practically famous for running on pretty much anything.
  16. The problem is that one major aspect of a culture directly opposes and is not compatible with the other. Telling non-Muslims to not depict Mohammed is a direct violation of the concept of free speech. Nothing to do with religion, nothing to do with violence, it's just two ideas where one simply cannot hold true while the other does. The question is, what gives anyone the right to dictate what I draw or say when what I draw and say is not inherently harmful to anyone?
  17. 5 man teams are much harder to do and much more impressive to pull off. I like that this is a skill that works fine if you're on your own but much better if you work as a team.
  18. Good point, but that's a risk we have to take. Not really. I like the fact that there's no significant financial reason why someone else would hack my account. If I get a Quest Cape, which I plan to fairly soon now, my account becomes one of the relatively few that's both active (and therefore susceptible to keyloggers) and worth a lot for gold farmers with bot networks. It's a great big white and blue sign saying 'hack me if you can'. However, I would appreciate it if you could break the trade limit by a margin of up to 40x over it, but on the condition that you can't transfer further wealth until the 'trade debt' is paid back in the normal 15 minute chunks. Normally, if you give a present to a friend, it's going to be a single or two high value items, and you won't give any more wealth to them for a fairly long time. The rate of wealth transfer limit is still there, but it just compensates for cases where you give a one-off gift to a friend. EDIT: Looking at my post, what I suggested probably didn't make much sense. Here's an example: Player A and B both have the maximum possible trade limit, 240,000 gp per 15 minutes. Neither have traded in the last 15 minutes, so their limits are at their normal state. It's B's birthday, so A gives a Saradomin Sword to B, worth approximately 8,900,000 coins. Terrifyingly unbalanced this trade may be, they both agree to a 'trade debt' to do this. This means that after this single trade, A can't give away any more wealth to anyone or B receive any more wealth from anyone else until the value of 8,900,000gp has been reduced to 0 at a rate of -240,000gp per 15 minutes, their trade limit. This will take about 9 and a half hours to complete. You can only trade up to 40x the limit, which in this case is 40*240,000 = 9,600,000 gp at the maximum requirements. Alternatively, for new accounts that don't know each other, it's only at 40*5,000 = 200,000. It might seem a lot, after that trade, the receiver can't receive and the giver can't give any more for another 10 hours. Trading with bots are no faster than they were before.

Ah, but this is Pixar. They have a habit of making ridiculously good sequels. It's a very strange thought that what should be regarded as a kid's movie is probably going to be mostly watched by people who are young adults. I'm 17 now, and 'heading to college'. Basically, my life has been simultaneous with Andy's and it's a very humbling thought that I myself will have to donate or throw away my own childhood toys when I move out. If this is as good as it promises to be, it would be for me the greatest movie trilogy of all time.
  20. Somehow when I read the title of the thread, I simultaneously thought 'Oh God, not again.' and 'Sweet, it's on again!'. I have a love-hate relationship with the contest, but there's really nothing like it for getting an idea of what other countries think of your country. It would be nice if we actually tried to win it though by getting an actually good singer/group on there.
  21. Hmm, if I get round to it I'll join the Lords.
  22. It's a skill, and skills have had related artwork and graphical style changes up for far longer than Dung has. If I were Jagex, I'd keep a banner about such a large project that was just completed up for as long as they have too.

No problem with it, genes are arbitrary, it's about upbringing. I do have a problem with families intentionally trying to have 5 or more children though, but that's the case independent of the method of conception.
  24. The OP would make more sense if it was about social networking rather than mobile phones, and then there would be a very valid point made. Mobile phones are just damn useful, and they've probably saved the lives of countless people, both literally or metaphorically. What's wrong with the expectation of being able to communicate now the technology's here and is so universal? As for those who must always update their Facebook page or their Birdnoise on a virtually live basis, I don't understand it. I keep an app on my browser that will tell me if someone's trying to talk to me on Facebook, but I only check once a day, and I get all the info from that single check that I need. Why bother doing it more regularly?
  25. Eh, I'm still trying to find a reason to have more than 2 cores, and I multitask and play games a lot. It serves a greater purpose to servers and cloud computing, but it's too soon for a PC. RAM is still usually found in 1 or 2 GB chunks, more people need to get 64-bit, IDE cables are still commonplace, and there's still difficulty in ridding the world of the floppy disk. As far as the limiting factors of our computers go, 6 core processors are unnecessary at the moment. It's cool, but just not yet. Also, considering how processing tasks are being sent to graphics cards instead of the CPU for intensive stuff nowadays, the demand isn't going up very fast at all. That motherboard is hot though.
