  1. sc needle is useful as well with d hide In my opinion, the good ones are the fletching knife, hammer, and needle. They're all about reducing the resources you use up and generally saving you money for the same amount of xp. The pickaxe and hatchet are inferior to their dragon counterparts and the xp's slower in general, although it's more enjoyable to play SC then mine/cut a bit and repeat than constantly mine/cut. The butterfly net isn't even worth considering. If there was a volatile tool that only picked the knife, hammer or needle, I'd go for it.
  2. I've always viewed clues as a break from the repetitiveness of training slayer or whatever you did to get the clue, instead of something to aim for. I still regard them that way, although I reckon that if I get hold of a level 4 clue, I'll drop what I'm doing at get to work solving it. There's too much potential reward there to bear spending time not doing it.
  3. This happens at the exact time when I need to train fletching and herblore loads. Woohoo!
  4. I'll second that. A proto-tool is invaluable for doing quests/diaries. It's pretty much all you need. The volatile tool doesn't do the same job.
  5. Me too. What on earth are you guys talking about? The treasure trails are far more interesting and worthwhile now.
  6. Simply put, no. The time and effort of managing multiple tools/ moving around to different skills is far greater than the time and effort saved from a measly 0.2x xp multiplier.
  7. What's with Mod Moltaire's funky hairdo? Anyways, I think these videos compliment the written dev blogs nicely. They should just merge them and stick them on the main page.
  8. To that video, to say that bodily integrity deserves as much state protection as material property implies that state protection is quantifiable. It's not. State protection is a complex procedure that must treat different things in different ways, and generalising doesn't help the matter.
  9. Why don't they fix mobilising armies first? I'm worried about that too. Have Jagex not realised what happened to Mobilising Armies?
  10. Dungeoneering Batch 1.75! I thought that they'd leave the new skill alone this month, considering how much development time it surely takes to make a whole new floor set. The new rewards sound very interesting too, I'm particularly interested in the Ring of Vigour. A lot of special weapons would get a huge increase of power even if their specials only cost 5% less.
  11. Yeah, there's a huge difference between the chaotic melee weapons and previous melee weapons. Not so with the staff and crossbow. EDIT: Furthermore, why does melee always get a huge array of weaponry in comparison to mage and ranged? Why are there four melee barrows sets but only one each of mage and ranged? Why three chaotic weapons for melee? Ranged could have the slow, accurate, one-handed crossbow and a fast, two-handed shortbow. Magic could have the staff and some sort of two-handed orb that has negative accuracy but a HUGE damage modifier. I think Jagex could have been more creative. Hopefully they balance it out with batch 2. Because you can deal damage in a multitude of different ways with range and mage with the same weapon, in the form of the ammo you use, whereas melee is simply a case of run up and smack.
  12. Honestly, having a life and playing Runescape aren't mutually exclusive. I just have a lot of free time right now. When I don't, I cancel my subscription until I have free time again. Is it really that hard?
  13. I think they'll find that people don't usually make a second offence (and curiously never a third offence) because they know not to get caught a second time. The American government has some serious issues. 'Copyright awareness quiz'? Really?
  14. The excitement's still there, but it just moves around the game a bit. Whips are always a good drop, but they're more like a small leg up in the financial side of things. If you want the punch the air go crazy moment, then it's a 3rd Age clue drop, GWD, Jad, Corp Beast, or maybe a triple chest at Barrows.
  15. My goal right now is to receive at least an ABB in my A-levels and enter a Chemical Engineering course at Sheffield University.
  16. This seems a bit pointless. Crowding's a big enough problem already.
  17. Well, Jagex has a thing with unusual games, and maybe they see untapped potential in it.
  18. Reading the link from the OP's post: They'll put that anywhere.
  19. o.O I apologise then. I thought Chaotic was a better name tbh.
  20. I thought they were warped/occult. Warped and Chaotic.
  21. Nah, that's 10 years minimum. It's a sign they expect this game to last if they're planning 10 years ahead. I think that Jagex are getting a little bit cocky, to say the least. Then again, they might have a right to be.
  22. I think I'll bind a hailstorm/flameburst if I get the chance, but I'll switch to a prom 2h when I can wield it.
  23. Good job on the finds, especially on the True Dungeoneering Skillcape. Those 'beast' bosses are Behemoths, it would have surprised me if they didn't put them in the other floors. The eyeball creatures are Seekers, but since the small one and the big one have a similar visual style (the eyes and 'teeth' are a clue), it might be a boss monster that has a few 'minions' a-la GWD.
  24. Firstly, I'd like to explore the universe without being bound by physical laws, I'm curious about how the human race turns out. Then, I'd like to make my own world, because I'd like to answer a lot of 'What if?' questions too. Eternal conciousness would suck, but oblivion sounds worse.

Perhaps the English language has needed a word to mean a small laugh or an expression of happiness? There's going to be a reason why words become popular in everyday use, and I hope the OP is aware that asking people not to use a certain word is not going to get anywhere. The evolution of language is impossible to stop.
