  1. Looks like we have learned something new about the editor? Also, finally, Luring is against the rules. It always seemed like a scam to me and I wonder what took them so long to figure out it was a scam. A very true fact. I liked this part of the article best. Another good part of the article. I really hope it is a precursor of better decision-making.
  2. Well, I was smithing today, and there is a guy selling a rune scimitar for 20k. So, I give him a chance, maybe he is honest, I go up and offer the 20k, he offers up the scimitar. I click accept, he swaps it for an iron scimitar and than hits accept. I don't hit it. He keeps at this for a while trying to scam me, but he gives up for a second. I didn't see it, but he traded with someone else. A newer player. He successfully scams him and he gets irritated, so the scammer is feeling quite full of himself. This time he offers a chaos rune, a law rune, an adamant pickaxe and the rune scimitar. This time however, he adds the iron scimitar and doesn't take away the rune one. We both click accept and he walks away saying, haha noob. Than I guess he realizes he scammed himself. The person who did get scammed however, was angry that he lost his adamant pickaxe. I give him the adamant pickaxe back and I threw in 10k because I felt bad for him, and I remember being new and getting scammed and how I hated it. Well, now, we are pretty good friends. PS: I still have that scimitar as a spare ;).
  3. I have two lederhosen pieces. The first lederhosen piece I got was a lederhosen hat. I got it while killing moss giants in Crandor in a fairly empty world. I got my second piece of lederhosen buying iron ore in world one in Falador outside the bank slightly nearer to the mining guild side. That piece was the lederhosen shirt.
  4. Yeah, I think the chances have increased. I got my first drill demon event about 2-3 weeks ago buying iron ore in world one in Falador. Yesterday, I got another piece of camo. The camo shirt! I was buying coal in the same place, same world. Five minutes later, I got the legs. This time I was buying iron. About 1/2 an hour later, I got the Freaky Forester event. I got the lederhosen shirt. I think randoms have increased a lot. Especially in world one.
  5. Sorry to crash your idea, but it wouldn't crash the economy if a few f2pers stopped playing for a week. Anyways, I had a lot of fun, and I am waiting eagerly for the next rally. Also, could we do it on a Friday or a Sunday? That way we won't interfere with any tet events and more people might show up.
  6. That was fun. Next time how about we set it on a date not interrupting a tet event. We might get more people to come. I was going to go to the scavenger hunt, but I came to the rally. Maybe HyperCam will work for me next time. I got the earlybird video though. If anyone wants me to post it, I will. Hehe, I see myself in there a few times. I was wearing full mime with a camo hat and a rune scimitar.
  7. Only two hours and 9 minutes until the rally. Remember everyone, world 96. I hope this is a good rally and it doesn't turn into a spam fest.
  8. How about we have everyone add the leaders, and if we need to see the message, we just switch public chat to friends for a second. This means NP PM'ING THE LEADERS! We don't want to spam them with PM's.
  9. Hey, there is plenty to do in F2P. Try setting some goals. Like getting one stat in the high scores. Post your stats and I will give you my opinion on what you should train. Getting bored of runescape is pretty common actually, on F2P and P2P. Check out my stats, I am F2P and I still have quite a bit of fun with the game. Setting goals is the thing that keeps the game fun.
  10. I am still a f2p player. I might become a member in October if Visa Gift Cards will work for memberships though.
  11. Green and yellow with pink dots and black swirls. When donkies start eating the world's cabbage supply...
  12. This little section of the article really fit me. It seems that running a game business is pretty hard thing to do. If you focus too much on the business, the game can get left behind. If you don't support the business, the game dies. Seems Jagex has to find the middle ground where both are satisfied.
  13. I think F2P runescape does need some updates. Some more bank space for starters. There is hardly enough space to keep our regular training items along with random event clothing. If you are lucky and get all the random event clothing, It takes up 19 spaces! That is a huge chunk of the bank space. To my knowledge, there have been no updates to free to play bank space. With all the new items we get like a holiday item every year and those sceptre pieces, we need more bank spaces. It would really help out the players and show the F2P players that Jagex does help out the players. It will make players think Jagex cares about it's players and wants to help them. This might encourage more players to become members. There should also be some motivation to report macroers. Most F2Pers don't report macroers because they think it is pointless. I mean, I was at the Port Sarim fishing shop. On almost every world, there is at least one macroer in the store. I reported one and thought it would be banned some time soon. I go back there half an hour later, and it is still there. I decide to put it on my friends list and track it. It stay's logged on for almost all day. I keep logging on every day, and it is at that same world. I go to check at the fishing store, and sure enough, there is a green dot in the store. That one macroer stayed at that store for about two weeks at my counting. At the yew trees near Rimmington, there are like 3-4 there at a time. I reported all of them, and about two days later, they were still there hacking away at the yews and than running back to Falador to bank the yews. If there was a way to get F2Pers to want to report macroers, there might be less of a problem. Maybe they should put in some propaganda ads to persuade players to report them and to persuade players if you macro, you will be banned very rapidly. Not a few weeks after you have transfered the items off and sold the account. Some things shouldn't be F2P like posting on the official forums. They are very bad as they are. If F2P was allowed access, it would probably just be a horrid spam hole. That is one example of a P2P only feature that should not be F2P because of the immature nature of a few F2Pers. Not all though. Some equipment slots are completely useless on F2P. Ring slots, they are almost entirely useless. The only semi-useful ring F2P has is the easter ring, but it doesn't give any benefits to smithers or fighters. P2P has a lot of rings that give great benefits. Also, the cape slot, it is one of the most useless slots only rivaled by the ring slot. The only capes F2Pers have are the normal capes which hardly help at all bonus wise.
  14. Some kind of bunny related object. Also the bunny hop emote. It would be cool if the bunny related object would modify the bunny hop emote a little bit to still signal that you were there for that specific easter.
  15. 8/10 Cool, random image, didn't notice that before. It makes me want to look at all the images.
  16. 7/10 Reminds me of the band Sublime
  17. I usually do some driving or tee off with my irons. I usualy like to use 5 or 7 but I sometimes use my 9 iron because I don't want to chase it real far. I will know if I am upset or stressed because I will be doing horribly. I would be shanking it into the woods or hitting wormburners with an occasional hook. If I am peaceful and serene, I will be hitting them really good and straight and I wouldn't be able to find the ball even if I tried my hardest. I play a little golf or practice my corner shot for lacrosse.
  18. ROFL he threw rocks at you for trying to talk to him so you ignore him :XD: Well he said talk to me, so I started asking how he was and stuff. I didn't realize to talk to him I had to click on him  #-o. When he started throwing rocks at him I thought he was just mean to me because I was new. I wondered why there were a bunch of people laughing at me at the time.
  19. So this can be kept a secret. It would be very nice. I think I will start learning a little German now.
  20. I added a guy to my friends list and than I saw he was a green dot. I asked if he was a mod or something. This is while I was mining. I also asked If I could buy a dragon scimitar for 10k. I confused total level for combat level and I thought I was already level 83. Whenever I would die, I started a new character because I thought I couldn't get my stuff back. I finally stopped this when a guy gave me a tinderbox and explained they were pretty common items. I thought F2P runescape was huge. Than I learned you have to bribe jagex every month to get the other areas and stuff. I also tried to carry out a conversation with the drunken dwarf once but he started throwing rocks at me so I ran away and added him to my ignore list. Later realized he was an NCP.
  21. I like Guthix because I like the color green naturally. I also like the balanced aspect. He has 99 in everything. That is the complete long term goal for everyone.
  22. How about whatever the item is, it modifies the hop emote a little bit so show you were there for that easter.
