I have basically no idea. I'd finish my degree (1 year left after this month), and I don't think there would be any point in buying a house now because I don't know where I want to live. Probably not in convenient location of the school anyway, so I'd probably stay where I am for 1 more year. I'd probably get a car, although I'm not much of a car person so I wouldn't go for something fancy. Being a gamer, of course I'd get myself the best computer/electronics, collection of games and stuff. I'm fairly fortunate that I can afford to not be in debt already for school, but it would be nice to have tuition/rent/food/spending money covered. Of course, I'd help out friends and family, but I don't know if I would be comfortable telling everyone. And then comes the issue of how much is reasonable to give people, which people I would consider close enough... I'm really not that good at spending money :P In a few years when I decided where I want to live I'd buy a massive house or something. I would worry, however, that it so much money would basically ruin any chance of forming real friendships or relationships in the future. I'm already not a very social person and I would not be able to deal with people who just want to be around me because I have money.

It would either never be used, or be used solely for its spec. If it was good enough to be used for spec, it would either replace current spec weapons like dd or claws, or it would have to be a unique special mechanic with it's own niche. Either way, it wouldn't be widely used content, so I can't really see the point in releasing it.

How hard is this thing for someone who has about 5m to spend on gear and pots? (Have all dungeoneering weapons, and can buy 1 dg shield... basically I only have untradable items. Doable?)

I agree with the change, but I think they way they did it was just stupid. I have a bunch of effigies, but I guess I won't be getting any more until I go stand around waiting for someone to assist me.

I almost always hop if I'm going to a spot that is full when I get there. If I'm already at a spot and someone else crashes me... I usually win.

It sounds like one of those scam honours societies that exist purely to gather membership fees, but don't actually exist or have any real accreditation. But I didn't do any research on it, maybe it is legit.

I tip because waiters/servers make less than minimum wage, with the expectation that the rest comes from tips. That, and I'm not a dick.

I'm fine with the fact that they went down a few goals in the first place... but what I am extremely disappointed in is that when they started to go down Canada lost their tempers, took a bunch of stupid penalties and misconducts, negated a 4 min penalty for a cheap retaliation... Was kind of pathetic. And then of course they almost made a comeback in the 3rd after a few lucky goals, but I bet they would have gotten a goal or 2 at the end of the 2nd if they didn't take all of those stupid penalties. Won't be surprised if they lose to Finland

I have 5 classes per semester, so 10 total this year Last semester I only had to buy 2 books. One for $180, and one for $90. 2 classes didn't require a book, and 1 used the same book as a class I had last year (although it was ~175 then). This coming semester I'm looking at 1 for $200, 1 for $130 + some sort of software package for $150 (but only "suggested"), 1 that isn't listed so hopefully that means I don't need one, and 2 that I already have. So... really expensive books, but at least there are a few classes now where we have a textbook that covers enough material for 2 courses. First year was the worst, requiring an expensive book in almost every class.

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwww yeah done exams! Staying up until 5 in the morning and getting up 1.5 hours later seems to have payed off, the exam went alright. After the exam I went and talked to the professor who I might be working with for the summer and he told me about some of the different research areas that he does and basically asked me what I'd be interested in doing. I stilll have to apply for/get accepted for an NSERC grant, but if I do get accepted then I will spend the summer working on creating an aerodynamic model of human coughs, and working with patients from the hospital to determine the flow pattern, range, size of fluid particles in the cough, and the extent to which those particles are contaminated with the virus of a sick person. Going out for dinner with my girlfriend and her family now! Downside is that I still badly need sleep. Oh well :P

Main use: entering a duel with a pure and then BGS speccing them so that their strength level drops to a negligible level, and laughing when they can't do any damage

ffffffffffffffff My last exam (advanced fluid mechanics) is in 9 hours I only slept 3 hours last night. I'm going to sleep less tonight. It's worth 60%. I'm not ready. Why am I on TIF? Professor is a dick and teaches everything from a pure math perspective. :thumbsup: Sent an email to one of my past professors earlier about possibly doing research work for him in the summer, and he replied saying that he does plan on taking someone and he wants to meet with me to discuss it. SO if all goes well I'll be doing fluid mechanics research instead of working at a fast food restaurant this summer. No idea exactly what I'd be doing, but he does a lot of wind tunnel/aerodynamics research so probably something along those lines.

Ummm what is the n here? Just an arbitrary constant? Or is it a different type of differential equation requiring some sort of solution in series form? Yah, it's basically an arbitrary constant. The solutions to that equation are Legendre's Polynomials, which are specific to certain values of n (usually it's an l, but I thought it might be confusing to use that since it doesn't look like an l on the computer). You assume a power series to solve it. Gotcha. A quick wiki tells me that it occurs when solving Laplace's equation in spherical coordinates, which isn't something we cover. We did a fair amount of partial differential equations, but only in boring regular coords. Recently we've been doing complex contour integrals.

Lol yeah it's kind of funny how much more we're into the WJC than all of the other countries. But hey, it has consistently produced some of the most exciting hockey games of the year, and it gives a great look at guys who have just been drafted or who are about to be drafted into the NHL.
