  1. Thats my question... My sister told me to read it. She literally pushed the damn book on me. I gave it a chance, read five pages, and within the five pages I found so many errors I quit. I was complaining how bad it was to my brother, and thus this picture was born. I love how the red eye only adds to the effect.
  2. Facepalming at her stupidity.
  3. Saradomin hoodie: Details: 55/45 poly/cotton blend retains shape and repels dragons
  4. They see me trollin,' I be rollin.' I don't put any stake in what I said in my last post. Nothing is morally wrong with wanting sex. The only belief I hold on the matter is that I want that close connection with only one person in my life. And I wasn't making fun of religion either. Anyone who knows me on this forum would know I'm actually quite a devout Christian. And I know what the Bible says, I've read it. (Yes, entirely.)
  5. The Bible says its wrong to have sex outside the bond of marriage, and that anyone who does so is going to hell. That's what I learned from church last Sunday.
  6. That. Is. Brilliant! And puts me in a great mood!
  7. Yea, the icedemon's no trouble. I died once (cb 105), but that's only cause I spent too much time figuring out the puzzle and used too much food/p pots on the ice/waterfiends. As long as you have enough prayer when you get to him, just pray mage and sit back and watch him die, if slowly.
  8. Okay, I'll join in on confessing relationship stuff: I was 19 before I dated anyone, and I still haven't kissed a girl. And it's pretty much cause I don't do casual dating. I don't date cause I want to have fun, I date because I'm looking for a relationship, and I've only dated once because I know what I want.
  9. Beasts of Burden only work for gathering bone meal, and only up to a certain point. You can't carry buckets of slime or pots of bone meal, but you can carry more bones than pots in your inventory, with BoB loaded with pots and withdraw pots once you use some of the bones. The balance depends on the familiar, and balancing how many times you have to withdraw pots from the familiar with being fast. I did it with terrorbird and it worked out nicely filling the terrorbird with pots and then withdrawing when I had no more pots in my inventory to fill.
  10. The FAQ page is using Lorem Ipsum  Yet another thing that I never hear about, then suddenly do and then it's EVERYWHERE. Lorem Ipsum, that is.
  11. Ya know, that as long as they did random sampling(not saying they did), that by laws of statistics, it is generally acceptable to generalize to a population from a sample.
  12. Well, I asked her out (although she pretty much led me to it), and she said yes. Success stories make me happy. See---> Have fun, and I wish you the best of luck.
  13. First, I want to say I don't put much store behind this survey, however: Survey methodology becomes a lot more valid when it is done in comparison with another, as is this one with a similar survey 20 years ago. (Unless y'all can show that people are more likely to lie on surveys now then they were 20 years ago, the amount of lies in each survey should balance out.)
  14. I have no idea, but that pic reminded me that it's about time to pull out my scarf and start wandering Runescape spreading Winter Cheer.

I read XKCD and Misfile, and I'm (very) slowly making my way through Questionable Content. (I started like 6 months ago and am only on like #410 or something. I'll get bored every so often and read like 50-100 of them and them not touch it for like a month or two. Whereas I read the entirety of Misfile in about two weeks. What does that tell you? )
  16. It's true. I tend not to be an "alpha male" (Unless I have a point to make, then you better watch out), but I've still found girls who are attracted to me.
  17. Tripsis, I'm assuming he meant his point about women liking a "strong, confident man looking out for them." I would say that's an over generalization. It's true for the general schema of what a woman wants, but can not be taken as a blanket statement. Some women are not looking for that. Case in point: strong female feminists.
  18. EDIT: To be clear, this post is in response to rsautohater, not doomsavenger. My psychology background says otherwise. Gender and which sex organs you're born with are only partially related. Sex organs represent what sex you are. Gender is indeed the socially constructed roles usually assigned to men or women depending on culture. Don't believe me? How about the WHO's definition: "Gender refers to the socially constructed roles, behaviour, activities and attributes that a particular society considers appropriate for men and women. The distinct roles and behaviour may give rise to gender inequalities, i.e. differences between men and women that systematically favour one group. In turn, such inequalities can lead to inequities between men and women in both health status and access to health care." World Health Organization Saying men are supposed to be the leaders is sexist talk. And physical differences are just about the only way men are "stronger" than women. "Human Nature" has got nothing to do with it. Gender roles were formed for convenience's sake, not because women are inherently subservient to men.
  19. That last bit is true enough, but it doesn't have to be. Men are not "supposed" to be the leaders. Men should feel free not to be the leaders, and women should feel free to be the leaders. There's no such thing as a "stronger" gender. Gender is, for the most part, socially constructed and the only reason people still conform to it is that most people are most comfortable with what is seen as the path of least resistance. Basically, who cares who's the stronger gender, whether it be men or women?
  20. Those last two posts are epic, in two utterly and completely different ways.
  21. Translation: Slightly better translation: The Doomsayer(Unholy Prophet  ) of RuneScape knows: "Whoever sows the wind will reap the storm(whirlwind, gale, etc.)." EDIT: Or... Maybe not, seeing as your location is actually Germany, and hence probably have a better command of both languages than I do. I just found my phrase as the english analogy, it's a reference to Hosea 8:7 "For they have sown the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind: [...]" and means every descision you make has consequences. And "Unheilsprophet" is the name of the Doomsayer in the german version of the game. I see. I missed the reference. I figured that's where you got the Unheilsprophet translation, I just liked the literal translation.

  23. I've read the Bible(yes, all of it) and it says no such thing. The closest it gets is telling the Israelites not to marry the surrounding cultures because they could lead them away from their God. Couple things about this: 1) You're not Jewish. 2)If she's Christian, there shouldn't be a problem, as you meet everything the Bible asks. If she's not Christian, then... ignore me. You'll have a harder time giving your parents a reason to allow it. If you like each other so much, it should work out, though personally I think if you're Christian and she's not then there is likely a difference in philosophy about life that may complicate a long term relationship.
  24. Which, personally, I'd much rather be. And I'd say most of his reasons fail anyways.
