Actually, Avira Antivir and Avast ar quite equal as of now. I have seen both work, but Avast is more on the paranoid side with a lot of false positives. Upside to it is more frequent updates.

Anyway, AVG is not good at all, despite being good in the past, it's now out of the range of good antiviruses.

I can assure you you won't have this problem when you will be on NTFS on the backup drive. As for a solution, you could separate your .iso in small bits in .rar or .zip format. I don't remember which format or which program my friend used, but he put a 7GB file on my fat32 usb key that way.

the govenor general canceled parliment not the prime minister, the alternatives were eith a vote of no confidence, which means another election straight away, or having the coalition take power when the majority of canadians are against the idea. this was a good decision because it gives the parties some breathing room to cool off. and has anyone seen the 10 minute speeches that were done by each of the coalition leaders? if you would have you noticed how each of the leaders have a different way in which the government should be run. whats that say when even the coalition leaders are out of sync? and the reason why people hate qubec is because they constintly ask for things from the rest of the provinces that that have not earned or deserved. and if the coalition does come to power the most likely event will be that they will begin asking the western provinces of canada for more and more resources at reduced maby even no cost. the western provinces, unlike quebec, can support themselves if they ever do decide that they've had enough of this [cabbage] and decide to seperate. It's Harper that asked the governor general to do this. Not just the governor that decided to cancel the parliament. As for Québec, where did you get that information? I personnaly think that if they separate, they will be able to make it through. They will lose jobs, in my opinion, but would get back up because of their hydroelectricity, that a few Canadian provinces and even some states buy.

If you're a Québécois, you just proved their point in them hating the Québec province. From my point of view, Québec shouldn't separate from Canada, they both need the other in some way. Maybe the bloc québécois wants to separate, but they have their place in the coalition. They are part of Canada too. So, qwerty, you hate Acadians too?

Are you having 2 antiviruses running at the same time? If that is the case, then no wonder the malware could get past so easily, both antiviruses comflict with the other. And I confirm what Devnull said, it really seems to be malware, and the second problem would be linked to either the virus, having 2 antiviruses at once(if the both run at once) or both. I would get rid of AVG if I were you. Despite the fact that it was good last spring, it is not anymore, it's more like in the worst antiviruses now. I don't know about malwarebytes since I never used or saw it in action, but I can say Ad-Aware is a very good program though, and even better in combo with Spybot(which you already have).

That's the situation I'm in. I always choose the best of the parties, but every time I voted, no parties seemed to be good with my ideas. I'm pretty much of a liberal christian though, since I have more liberal views than conservative views. I never wanted Harper as Canada's PM, not even the first time, but he got in because everyone voted against the liberal party, not for the conservative.

To me it points to a Java problem, I would try reinstalling it. I'm not too sure about the Firefox part.

NO! I have only seen 2 of their TVs, and they both broke in the first weeks (one of them was an HDTV). I also heard a lot about them breaking. Samsung makes very good electronics for the most, but not in televisions.

Heh, since it's been melting still for a while, I almost fell off the stairs in front of my appartment because of the thin layer of invisible ice that had built up there. Lucky I didn't but my feet didn't have any grip.

That book/movie is a give and take kind of story. All that gets out of it is be positive and you will see life a positive way, but be negative and you will see everything in a negative way. Nothing we didn't know already.
