Thats really interesting, a few months ago i was checking out old posts and saw that one about S H A R K mining the first addy ore.

If you want any friend at all you could go to a busy place and ask someone or help someone with something and they will want to be your friend.

Not sure about members, but for f2p i would say Crandor island or most northern point in wildy.

OK lets start: Took over 4k tokens to get an addy defender, 120 tokens to get 5 rune defenders after that (i know thats good luck, but after all the hard work.) Took me an hour and 10mins to catch the 10 or so rats in rat catchers quest. (this was with a normal cat) Best drop ever: rune full helm or rune scimmy Best TT reward: rune platebody and some junk Nothing good from barrows (havent done this much though) i have some more, can't think of any ATM

How do you mean unsuccessful, they just started, i bet within a few months the worlds will be about as crowded as the average world in peek time. And i heard that French, Spanish and Dutch will be on the list next. We already have 'alot' of Chinese playing for the wrong reasons :wall: Maybe they don't respond because they don't understand what we are saying :wink: Just saying if there was a chinese version it might 'encourage' rl trading more...... I doubt there will be a Chinese version, or another version in a different alphabet, because i think it would be too much work, but Hey! anything's possible.

Yep i agree, i haved played it through some 2 week trial thing, and i only like the graphics better, but i like the way RuneScape is set out, and much easier to understand. (and for me, more fun :D)

The reason is because it just started, lots of english speaking players will want to try them out because its new. When i was on i didn't see any English speaking players, i saw lots of German players speaking German. I also think there are many German players out there who have not found RuneScape yet, i would say in a few months they will start to get busy with German players.

i wouldn't mix this in with the tutorial island, but i would suggest a new [optional] members tutorial where you could be taught how to do them. Now going a little off topic, i would like it if crafting was taught on tutorial island, because i remember i had no clue how to use it when i first started, but i guess they have introduced the in-game manuels on them, which was after i experienced this.

I hate it when people use buy/sell, its annoying when someone says: "buy nature runes" or something like that, because the first time i saw this i though the person was telling his friend to buy nature runes.

I think they always say what they are going to release in the BTS. So i don't think any major suprise will come out.

Yea, that's why there is someone at 200M Attack Exp. but not stregth :P Someone has 200mil in attack and also another person has 200mil in def. Edit: whoops i somehow missed someone already said this ^^ sorry :oops: Im pretty sure that attack and defence are the fastest and the same then comes strength.

what about an egg mask, has same features as the pumpkin mask. Or a basket with little eggs that you hold in your weapon spot, it does nothing but lower the attack bonuses.

hmm? the first thing i remember is someguy saying wow a lvl 100! i looked at him thinking what a good player (this was early 2004) and then soon i wondered off to the cows and after dying i found the chickens and killed them for a while.

In the picture with they guy showing his inventory, it has no disk of returning....

The new quest looks pretty cool, hope that weapon is cool/good :thumbsup:
