It's been accomodated for - with TOG, Penguin Points, lamps, etc. al. If they had made it a minigame or diversion, you wouldn't have been able to skip the "skill" with these methods, so I sort of applaud Jagex for that.

The notion of a Bronze Crown player is noxious to me. Special forums, special access to Jagex, special display crown in the game, special influence on future updates. And if I want to get Jagex' ear, I would have to find someone with a Bronze Crown and get them to forward my ideas. Perhaps by their merit, perhaps with a favorable loan of an item, perhaps in exchange for my support at some clan warring event. No Thank You.

I like Hostgator. I have a site on their hatchling plan and have been completely satisfied with what I get for the money.

And a big disadvantage of W84 (if you're a New Worlder) is that it's a UK server. I wish I had enough influence to get some Americans to split off onto a US server. W84 is a lag fest.

You never know when Jagex is going to go revisionist and add in new pouches. Six months from now, they could add some new pouches that change the sitch. They stack; you might as well pick them up. Like 1 bank slot is going to ruin you.

I use Adsense for Content also (non-RS related) and believe you me, you make a lot more money on clicks than impressions. What Jagex needs to do is start their own advertising channel - that way fansite admins don't have to go chasing bad ads. The Big J can filter out undesirable ads from the top and the admins can focus on maintaining a top-notch site.

I could see myself misplacing the device or having it stolen, along with a pantsload of my stored passwords or other stuff.

This is not true; if you have a full inventory, one of the items being skilled can be replaced by your stone. Some message pops up in your chat box to that effect to let you know what happened. I have seen this personally happen and the behavior is also noted on Runescape Wiki, as well asTip.It's own guide. Depending on the value of the item being skilled, I either fill my bank space (iron ore) or leave a space (super prayer pots).

They are if you kill dragons a lot. They make a lot more difference than extremes do. Maybe if you mêlée... but if you range/mage from a safe spot they are superfluous. EDIT - I should qualify that and say range/mage non-metallics (blackies, blues, reds & greenies). The metallic ones will lob their candy corn breath at you.

Rarely a day goes by that I don't encounter this as well. Lower to midlevel players assume that if you don't speak to them and you are a higher level, you must therefore be a bot. :wall:

I agree with the OP in that most of the updates are filler material and could be done without. I disagree with the OP in that I don't need new updates to make me think my members fee was well-spent. They could go the rest of the year without new content and I'd be happy. Probably happier. According to the log-in screen, there are over 25,000 hours of content in the game. I haven't even exhausted half of it.

I got a skin job to match my ears: In game, it looks more Vulcan to me than squirrel-like.

Dwarf multicannons have been around since classic days. I remember how fugly they looked back then. The issue now is that there is so much money floating around the game, more people can afford to buy wagonloads of cannonballs. There's a lot of money to be made in dragon bones. And since you can finagle around and use cannons in single combat areas, well let's just say it's a perfect storm. Now, should Jagex address (1) this unintended use of cannons or should they address (2) the expense of dragon bones or should they address the underlying cause - (3) too much gp floating around in the game?

The only way I know of is to watch the ground by your exit portal when you aren't in building mode. They will appear one at a time and show as a red dot on the map.

Definitely enough for a tortoise; that's the way I roll. That's 25 + 18 = 43 bones.

On my dial-up, the best pings are about 170-190. I start having real issues in the upper 200s.

I got my first Master Angler medal just now. I just need to start writing down the combinations so I can go back to the heaviest fishes at the end. Is the medal a physical item? No. It is merely tabulated on your score sheet and counts towards your eventual tackle box purchase. You can get Master & Junior Angler medals in each game you play. On a separate note: One thing that could be improved with this D&D is a Fisherman spawn at Shilo Village.
