I have never used the item lending system. I never loaned or "barrowed" items before the system came to be. So I simply do not understand the appeal. But I am directly affected by it when some slack assed stranger comes up to me and asks to "barrow" something I am wearing (or not wearing). Just yesterday, someone chased me through Lumbridge Castle (by right-click following, I suspect): "Kafei barrow GS?" "Kaf" "Borrow GS" "Wait!" (on the stairs now) "Kaf barrow gs" My freaking god, how thick can people be?

Or how many non-farmers start dropping by their plots to harvest weeds. Study the 180 day graphs and pay particular attention to items where the price has dropped below the moving average. These are items that will soon rebound in many cases. Study these items further to make sure the item is not dropping because of a nerf. Don't buy items that are spiking - these are the ones where you will get the rug pulled out from under you. Patience is the key. You may have to wait days or weeks to see your strategy come to fruition.

I just don't understand the appeal of being a PMod. Babysitters are supposed to be paid, and the little silver crown just doesn't do it for me. As for the food article, I wouldn't be surprised to see some 25 to 30 hp healers soon. With all the mega weapons in the game now, it just about has to happen. But will they be something besides a new species of fish? Maybe a Fred Flintstone style slab of dragon ribs? Mmmmm.

Threads like these remind me of my grandfather. He always used to talk about walking to school through 12 feet of snow, uphill both ways, yadda yadda yadda. He would talk about being able to buy his lunch at the general store for 3 or 4 cents (bologna, crackers, candy). But he always neglected to say that he was also making about 25¢ a day. Yes, prices have gone up. But so have "wages." It's all good.

I've been experimenting with this on normal monsters (before I go back & finish the quest). It's a neat "quest reward" in that you don't have to finish the quest to get it. It's definitely slow; about what I have experienced with other 2H weapons. Definitely slower than a whip. But it's fun to light up dags with, no doubt. I wish it had a special.

The priest in Lumbridge church also has an icon by his name. Several of the F2P quests had their rewards bumped up. If you go through your quest list one by one, you will see messages at the bottom of the ones with unclaimed rewards.
