  1. It's been proven over time that Jagex absolutely hates making bank-organization easy for us. Even the bank tab update was self-defeating because of major tab/drag/drop lag. It takes twice as long to arrange things in your bank then it did before. The only real useful thing that came of it was the search option. On top of that, multiple place-holder tricks that are completely harmless have been fixed(God books, diary items, ect). It's not like jagex is making pvp more "balanced" by not letting players have stocks of god books and ardy capes in their bank, they're just making it harder and more annoying(and essentially not worth it) to PK with them while they would realistically have minimal affect. Why couldn't they just charge a 1K fee for allowing us to get multiples of certain items(Ectophiles, rings of kinship, ect)? Heck, I'd pay 100k for each of those items for just a placeholder. Or better yet, why couldn't they just let us lock items into place? I know there was a bank update suggestion thread a few years back on here that nailed the idea head on with placeholders and such. It seems like such a simple idea that would make every-day scaping' so much easier. So why haven't they done it?
  2. This is true. Also use jujus if you have them, and Magic secateurs should be a must as they're pretty easy to obtain, and increase the by 10%. Besides that, it's just bad luck.
  3. Two in particular I'm pretty sure about are the Demonic sigil & it's mold(Although even if you had the mold you couldn't craft another if you had completed the quest) from Shadow of the Storm. It's not a useful item by any means, but it was fun to have. On of those novelty items. I'm pretty sure though every item that has some use after a quest is re-obtainable. If there's an item that is otherwise, i am unaware of it. As far as recovering, pour your money into MTK, and make money somehow. Taking advantage of bots in chaos tunnel green dragons is good. But whatever you end up doing, farm herbs along side of it.
  4. I would assume because the rapier's slash bonus is 4 less then the whip. Raising superstition that 4 slash bonus is much more wanted then 19 strength bonus, which is ridiculous but something i would expect from the average uninformed scaper'. But i think the real question now is Gaar's resistance to stab enough to justify using slash on him instead?
  5. Yeah, rapier. Granted Gaar is weak to slash, but that doesn't justify the 19 str bonus you lose by using whip over rapier. Plus the rapier's stab attack is 94 while the whip's slash bonus is 82. So the extra 12 stab attack has to make up somewhat for the loss in weakness.
  6. 50+150=200 200/2=100% Mistakes like these make me wonder why i haven't failed math yet.
  7. Korasi's spec hits between 50% - 150% of your max melee hit with the boosts you have at the time of the spec. However, where you hit in this range is completely random. But the most reasonable idea is that your spec will average out so that most of them are 75% of your max hit as that's the middle ground and most likely the more common hit. Also, i've seen some people hit pitiful single digit specs with it on rare occasions. My assumption is that this was either a glitch, or Jagex though the weapon was to overpowered(Still kinda' is tbh.) and decided to throw in some random troll specs.
  8. So, taking advantage of the multiple bots that must have been broken due to the recent crash, i decided to hit up frosts. And I'm glad i did. This is most likely the first drop i've gotten that has been solo and above 10M worth. I've gotten 2 BCP drops before that were mine, but that was during a FFA split. Needless to say; my day = made.
  9. This. However, one thing that no one has covered is if the longbow is protected over normal rune PKing gear. Recently it didn't protect over it, due to the fact that the sight was only worth a couple K in alch value. But with the kept item on death changes, it's protect value might have been jacked up so that it'll protect over rune. It happen with the Gravite weapons(They used to protect bellow rune, forcing people to wear addy if PKing with them. But now they protect over rune) so i don't see why it wouldn't have happen with the sighted longbow. Could someone confirm?
  10. Mhm, all level boosts(Prayers, pots, ect) will boost your damage. Don't let Jagex confuse you with magic prayers, which only boost your accuracy(Reason i say this is because it's a common misconception that gets people confused).
  11. Yea, berserker ring is definitely a must. Especially if your strength is going to be lower. And I'd advise not to fill a guthix book. It's really only +4 in all attack bonuses; not really worth it. Instead I'd save up for something useful like a fury. However, depending on how accurate you are on rock crabs, you might even do better with a str ammy.
  12. Wiki lists all methods, new and old. It hardly takes any common sense to figure out which information is worded wrong/just plain wrong, and what information is still viable. And Wiki isn't that bad at all. It's good as a base guideline, and with more then a few said braincells, you should easily be able to pick out the bad information. I've been using RSwiki for over a year now and have yet to make a bad choice based on it's information. As for the method itself... I guess it could be viable by people who are not maxed, and are using lootshare. But securing a world with those conditions can be near impossible. But it is possible, by some stroke of luck, that they manage to do a full trip without being bothered. So that's why i assume the information is still up there.
  13. I bought one myself. Turns out it's an extra $7.50 that i wouldn't have paid if i just kept my normal subscription. But I'm actually a sucker for Asian culture, specifically the Japanese. Plus i was looking for a cool weapon to wear with my main outfit, and it looked like it could have been a winner. So, me and my friend went out to gamestop and bought two cards, one for him(His membership had ran out a few days beforehand) and one for me. We got back and activated them, and were giddy over our katanas. They were a fun novelty item, but the novelty wore off after a day. As it stands now, the katana is still cool and i don't regret buying it. But it's not going to be my main weapon for my outfit. It would have been a winner if it was the stats and speed of an iron scimitar(But possibly still 2 handed). Would have been more true to actual katanas. Also it's hold animation is somewhat awkward after a while. I think it should have been the natural hold animation like scimitars and longswords are held. And when you were in combat, the holding animation changes to the battle-stance. Also, making two different holding animations for in combat and out of combat could lead to us finally being able to sheath our weapons and put our shields on our backs(An update i've been waiting on for years >.>). Oh, and the stab attack doesn't even stab. It's just the slash attack but going the opposite way. It would have been cooler if it was a full-out stab attack like the way we stab with the Zamorak spear, but over-handed. Because even the slash attack seems sorta' weak and slow... Like you put no effort into it. All in all, it's technically not real world trading as the cards cost 22.50 for 3 months over here, and the extra money is for the store's profits, and shipping/manufacturing fees, ect. But it's a step towards that direction, and Jagex has better watch out or else they'll have an item mall just like every other MMO/online game out there. Anywho, since this didn't satisfy my needs for a new weapon for my outfit... Back to trying to get ceremonial sword V plans, and smithing a perfect ceremonial steel sword. <end long response>
  14. I really don't have anything else to contribute to this thread other then saying "LOL". Seriously, I'm LOL'ing at the fact that whether your appeal is accepted or not is so random that you can just copy and past song lyrics and possibly get passed or not. But i think Jagex needs to put some more money into customer support so they can review at least certain offenses. Offenses like botting, maybe not because i very rarely see cases where a player has proof that he wasn't botting when he got banned/reset.
  15. Crossbow. I believe it would be the most useful for you, and even with general conditions i believe it would be the most useful.
  16. Your attack should be fine. You should only get it up to 45 if you decide to get a G2H for F2P PKing. Or to 60 if you decide you want a corrupt dragon scimitar. Though i wouldn't recommend the latter, it would add a lot of combat levels just for a K0 weapon.
  17. What do you mean by "my last 15 minutes"? It is possible that the sever that you were on went down/crash. And Jagex could have possibly rolled it back a few minutes to prevent damage.
  18. Nope. Battleaxes are useless for the most part(Baring Dungoneering and the Primal Battleaxe). What you're looking for in a weapon is an decent str and attack bonus, and a fast speed. Scimitars and whips are the best. And a Chaotic rapier is what you'll eventually want.
  19. Also, if you don't want to do Monkey Madness, just pick up a Brackish Blade. It's essentially a stabbing dragon scimitar that requires no quests.
  20. Fly fishing is fastest, but between the two I'm almost positive lobsters are.
  21. This. With 86 dungoneering(Not exactly sure what prestige), i think my highest exp get was from my max floor w/ no deaths. Around 78k exp i believe.
  22. The GE value is accurate on most items. Saved for a few rares i believe. The money is best invested in a barrows top and legs(Preferably DH or torags body, whichever is cheaper. And a Verac skirt). And after that, a berserker ring.

Oh yeah. I think this is the future of creating a lot of simple 3D objects. Actually, with WoW you can order a 3D figure of your character from a company. They use a 3D printer to make it, then touch up work and paint it by hand. Though it's god damn expensive to buy one. But as technology advances, this method will become cheaper and more widely-available. I'm sure we'll be able to 3D print things like simple automobile parts and such eventually. Maybe even more complex items that are cylinder-shaped(I imagine printing something that is a cylinder and has bends wouldn't be possible yet. Take a car muffler, for example. With the way the process works, printing the inside might not be possible).

It happens. You can't really do anything about it, just try to ignore it the best you can. Actually, since i've been off and on chinning for 99 range, when someone tries to take my spot, i like to get some amusement out of them and start burying all the bones, while still killing monkeys to ensure that i get any other bone drops. Sure it puts a damper on your exp/hr, but at least you can be an [wagon] to crashers. But if you don't feel like that, just hop. It's all about exp/hr anyway. Just drop it, and hop if they don't leave in 5~ minutes. And i always take a gree gree as to not disturb other chinners. And if someone is in my spot, i hop to another world. Actually i have yet to hop into a world with someone in it. Every once in a while you just have to tollerate the occasional person running by w/o a gree gree.
