    Chinning

It happens. You can't really do anything about it, just try to ignore it the best you can. Actually, since i've been off and on chinning for 99 range, when someone tries to take my spot, i like to get some amusement out of them and start burying all the bones, while still killing monkeys to ensure that i get any other bone drops. Sure it puts a damper on your exp/hr, but at least you can be an [wagon] to crashers. But if you don't feel like that, just hop. It's all about exp/hr anyway. Just drop it, and hop if they don't leave in 5~ minutes. And i always take a gree gree as to not disturb other chinners. And if someone is in my spot, i hop to another world. Actually i have yet to hop into a world with someone in it. Every once in a while you just have to tollerate the occasional person running by w/o a gree gree.
  2. RuneScape wasn't built to become this big, and have this much stuff(Skills, items, quests, abilties/ect). With each new update, the game will die more and more. I said this previously, and I'll say it again: I personally believe that we need a huge game revamp(RuneScape 3) to keep the game thriving. Big changes, borderline a whole new game. No more grid movement, armors and weapons diversified, PvP and PvM completely revamped, grinding pretty much obliterated, ect. At first people would hate it. Because everything they have worked for could be for not(Skills would most likely be easier to level, and quests would be more fluent) but i feel it's a change that needs to happen for the greater good of the game. The only problem i see with this is how could Jagex do this and still maintain RuneScape as being affordable, playable on low-spec computers, and browser based? They would most likely have to keep RS2 around in it's current state, but not updated like classic, and release a whole new version that requires a download, and a more powerful PC and perhaps higher membership rates.
  3. On the first floor(Second for US), all the way to the east there's a lever. What it does is reset all the mirrors and crystals you have placed throughout the dungeon. And after you reset it, you can get them back in your inventory by selecting the collect option on the same lever. And another little note, I'd advise using a video guide for this quest, Specifically GoingCrazy201's video guides. Because she explains them very well. Just don't over think when she cuts the video, because she messes up a few times. And don't destroy any crystals you don't think you'll need, because you might eventually use them in current stage of the puzzle. I did this quest a few days ago. In all honesty, it's not nearly as bad as people make it out to be. With a video guide, it was merely time consuming. But not hard by any means.
  4. This. Your rank is perfectly safe when you get it. I don't even think you can lose it via quitting early.
  5. The best way to find one is just to do normal 5:5 larges, and kill any mage that is level 53+ mage that is holding a box in their left hand. It's how i found mine, they're not that rare. They only seem rare because it's not common for people to kill mages that they don't need to unless someone is hunting for a csb.
  6. It depends. Hypothetically, Is it like a glitch that is going to get patched? Or would it be some update that allowed us to bind one overworld item? If it was the latter, i would want something that would help me DG. I would love if i could take my beloved EEE and bind it. Free 400 LP every 5 minutes? Yes please. Or if special attacks are disabled, then perhaps i would take a pair or barrows gloves. Though i wouldn't give up my ssh for any of these. So i would require 100 dg, or we would have to get another "overworld" item bind slot. A pair of barrows gloves + blood neck(primal boots are a more practical second) at 100 dg would be an extra 22 strength bonus all the time. Talk about significant. Or better yet, maybe if you could take an overload (4) in and bind it, and it refills itself every floor. That would be awesome. Drink a dose at heavy combat rooms like the merc room/ect and save one for the boss. It's fun to think about, but it would make dg a bit too easy i believe. I think the difficulty for dg'ing is perfect as is.
  7. Pretty good. The fact that the music changed with just about every clip sorta' annoyed me. But then again it's most likely just because it's not my style of editing. Also the multitude of high-value drops might make some people think some of the clips are fake. But realistically this is your first PKing video, so good clips like that can build up depending on how often/how long you've been PKing. All in all, pretty good. Big fan of zerkers here, always happy to see one that's good at PKing
  8. Gold farming bots are bots that are made to be botted 99%. Meaning, they bot from level 3 all the way up to the point where they can do the gold farming method they use. And once they're banned, they just start a new one. Since it's just this cycle over and over again, they don't waste time to do quests for other marginal bonuses.
  9. so i'd want to just get the range helmet, and what other pieces? deflector, gloves, legs, ? i do have barrows gloves and I would get the melee helm later too and just ahrims with staff of light for bursting right? Correct. Use full void + deflector with a range top. And for mage gear, that's pretty much it. However, using a SoL and battle robes will save you 50% of your runes. So consider that if you enjoy FoG(Full set lasts about 10 hours, costs 250 tokens to charge the set). And i wouldn't advise bursting at mummies... Do rock lobsters for charms. You'll thank yourself later.
  10. Using a rapier, elite void w/ deflector, turmoil & overloads for 99 str. Chin for 99 range, barrage for 99 mage and charms for 99 summoning. Get all your good quests done for korasi, veng, and what not then do some PKing. Corrupt armors if you feel like it, and korasi will run you an extra 220k~ per death over say a DDS, but is the almost sure-kill spec weapon. You're working with a very flawless zerker here so far, assuming you have all the quests out of the way for the hand cannon... But Y U HAS 99 PRAYER?
  11. I'm assuming he's a Range Tank. In all honesty(And of course these are just suggestions, you can void it if you want), i would suggest a kata 2h on defensive with normal binds. It would be better DPS then a long/shortbow i believe. Other then that, maybe bind a rapier with the tank ring, and take a shield off the start table? >.> No idea if that would be better DPS then a leather body + shortbow or longbow + platebody and a ranging ring. Never experimented with things like that =S Oh! but i do think that mage is better DPS then range in daemonhiem(Sans the HHB). So perhaps you should tell your friend to get 99 mage and use a CCS and a CSB(And quite frankly i think mage looks badass in dungoneering)? Getting mage wouldn't hurt his stats. Actually, he could use at least 94 mage if he PKs at all. But as far as drops, 5:5 on smalls is the best you can do for a decent boss drop. If not 5 people, then then mediums i guess.
  12. Indeed =P With your levels, you would make a fine addition to a dungoneering team ^.^ And i love your hunting level. It's just at the necessary level for farming jujus, and hasn't been trained past that point. Same with me, though i still need 8 more levels >.>
  13. [/hide] THANK YOU GOD! *Wipes sweat off brow* Thought we almost lost RuneScape there... Anywho, i just hope that i get a massive amount of points considering that i've been a constant member for say... Over four years now? By the time you posted this, we've already established that it isn't a micro-transaction payment for something and that previous membership credits don't count. Altho, to the OP or whoever's in charge of editing the first post, might I suggest you take the "more info" out of hide tags? Maybe put it in a quote tag "more info" thingy? Yeah. My bad. Had a tl;dr moment. But, with that aside... This upsets me: [hide] [/hide] Some loyalty program. I respect the gesture but that's basically a big 'screw you' to those who have already shown they were loyal before they even offered incentives. I agree with Kimberly. The fact that this is basically a slap in the face to us who have had a constant subscription for 5+ years. Now with this, everyone is going to have the rewards because it's a small price to pay to get new rewards. Sure there will be those few unfortunate people who can't have a monthly auto renew subscription, but everyone who can have a constant subscription is going to get the next best reward at the exact same time as the last person. Rendering any "cool" emotes/costumes not cool or special, because everyone will have them.... At the same time. That's why i like my Zamorak Halo, it looks cool and is a sign that i love castle wars. But is quickly losing status value as castle wars is becoming increasingly popular due to the fact that it has rewards now which are used outside of the game. Despite the fact that i've gotten all my tickets before the updates, there is no way to distinguish that from the next person with a Halo above their head. Meh, off topic. End rant.
  14. This >.> But OT: Try to not have so much bank space to begin with. Most Scapers make do with 40 - 10 bank spaces free. I myself make do with around 30. There are a lot of useful items that you can keep in your bank to make every day scaping easier. Keep most useful items/ect, and you won't have as much as a problem as far as filling up your bank goes. Other then that, holiday items, afros, books from your poh, circus clothing, oh and take all your keys off your key rings. That's a good 7-ish spaces that won't take much time to consolidate again.
  15. This. I think it's something along the lines of " your resistance to fire has run out." or nearly runnout. Or something like that, whatever the actual message is. The bot scriptwriters jumped on that pretty quickly... I think all their scrips have been fixed by now. In all honesty, start hopping until you find a semi-empty world. I managed to get a decent amount in 45 minutes, and i wasn't even really trying.
  16. I'm almost positive you can. I hear about people stewing for diaries a lot.
  17. Oh God... When i first saw "Loyalty Points" i thought "Alright, maybe they're rewarding us for having our membership constantly active or something like that." But when i saw what you guys are theorizing a impending doom came over me... I never thought i would quit this game, but the day that some douche has a sheer advantage in bossing/PvP just because he forked over 30 bucks for an in-game item, is the day i kiss this game goodbye. Praying that Jagex isn't that money hungry. But based on recent theories(The fact that they're not banning member's bots, ect) chances are looking grim. EDIT: [/hide] THANK YOU GOD! *Wipes sweat off brow* Thought we almost lost RuneScape there... Anywho, i just hope that i get a massive amount of points considering that i've been a constant member for say... Over four years now?
  18. I'm kinda surpprised there is still so many 01'ers around. Prompts to you guys for sticking around so long  I don't exactly know when i started. Though i don't think it was too long before the rubber chicken, my earliest holiday item.
  19. Fury, fury, a thousand times fury. And if you don't already have it, a zerker ring.
  20. I would do the same thing tbh. Sure it's not the best idea, but i would light that [bleep]er up. So, imokaywiththis.jpg, kill it with fire, various other memes.
  21. So, i was complaining about not having 99 range in the chat today, and Kandy being as cool as he is decided to buy me the chins. Needless to say that I'll be spending a lot of time at skele monkeys over the next few weeks(Most likely am not going to grind it out all at once unless i feel really compelled to... I hate grinding). <3 you kandy.
  22. Armored zombies' defense is already so low, that it isn't even relevant what attack style you use. It won't make any major impact on exp/hr. However, with above suggested methods, chaotics drain faster in multi combat zones with more then one mob attacking you. So this into consideration when choosing a training spot.
  23. For 97 - 99 str(Really wanted to get it over with) i used my rapier with elite void, deflector, prayer potions and extremes at armoreds. It will cost you a lot with the rapier charges and prayer potions. But i was pushing 120K exp an hour with this, with picking up drops. Let the drops sit and you might push 135K/hr at the cost of recovering some of your wealth. But if you do farming runs in between, you've pretty much covered your expenses anyway. The only method i know that is better then this is DH'ing ape atoll monkey skeletons with overloads and a familiar. I've heard people getting 150k an hour with this. However, the method might be outdated due to the fact that the rapier is faster and significantly stronger then previous options.
  24. This is the reason why I'm up at 5 in the morning: (Thanks to PoorLepRecon for letting me get it on him) I'm now officially maxed melees. I would have let this level go longer, as it's one of my least favorite 99s. But just being in combat knowing that I'm so close to having optimal melee stats, but not quite annoyed me enough to get it >.> But it was quick and painless with void/extremes/p pots/rapier. Also, for teh lulz i got this drop while training: I think i might have officially gotten every drop Armored zombies have to offer(Sans the rare drop table). I even think i've gotten a dragon spear there too. My main motive for getting this 99 was the cape. While it's ugly on mains, i actually think it's pretty sexy on Zerkers. And ever since i saw someone in this outfit while EPing way back when, i've wanted to get it on my zerker: While i can only pose as a Zerker on my main, i still love this outfit. Idk what it is about it, it just looks so lethal to me :-P Anywho, i should head to bed >.>
  25. Doing nothing and getting rewarded in return shouldn't happen. People wish to do nothing and get something in return. In this instance, you my friend, are one of those people. I remember when people played castlewars for enjoyment, and not for it's rewards. Why? Because the rewards sucked. But it was still a classic, and fun minigame. So it retained a good amount of players who actually enjoyed it. But adding these new rewards have just encouraged people to be lazy in order to obtain them. Jagex added an activity meter to Soul wars, and the damage requirement to Pest Control to combat this kind of behavior. But all they only seem to see it fit in minigames that have a noticeable impact on a player's levels(As both have EXP rewards) But tend to not give two [cabbage]s for the other players playing the minigame, and their immediate enjoyment(Because you know, who care's about a player's enjoyment? It's all about levels and goals in the end, right? It's why we have bots). However, people who do it, are going to do it regardless of what other says. And it isn't against the rules, so reporting will do nothing(And may result in a ban for the person who reported due to abusing the system). Realistically all minigames should have an activity meter. But as far as Jagex actually doing something like that, is unlikely. You can flame people who stand around at minigames all you want, but it isn't going to do a damned thing. All we can do is write suggestions to Jagex for activity meters to be applied to these minigames as well.
