This guy is correct. Maples give most profit due to nests. 9 workers is enough to get the max number of nests. Coal is the 2nd best money maker to use. I never heard about that O.O I should give it a try.
-
I've heard it can be around 100k daily. Possibly more if you get lucky with the seeds.(Exact numbers i am not sure, i don't track the profits of my MTK) And I'm not completely sure about maples. All the knowledgeable people on the forums are saying coal, so I'd trust their opinion.

I cannot stress enough the advice that Quyneax gave. Kiting seems hard at times, and you'll fail a few times and get whacked for a 300, but it is definitely worth it because you get the hang of it pretty quickly. I did it when i meleed the caves, and they went so much faster. But, of course when Jad came along, everything was going fine until those pesky healers came out. And Jad noticed that i way paying a little too much attention to them... <.< But now with the deflect method coming to light, i might try again and do it the easy way. But other then that, your setup looks good. Few less brews, since you have an EE, and things should go swimmingly.

Last i heard it was full herbs and the rest on coal. I did this for my Zerker over the two months he was F2P, and it net me about 2M profit without keeping my approval rating up. Even with herbs as crashed as they are now. Pretty good for approval rating as low as 49% if you ask me.

You should go as high as you can with the magic necklaces. I'd really advise getting a stream. The tokens really start to pick up when you start teaming larges at levels 65 - 70. I've already made enough to get a stream, and I'm only 67 dungeoneering. I spent them on a scroll of life and scroll of cleansing, and i still have 10k tokens left over. I could get to level 70 and 30k tokens in a day if i wanted to. But with the obvious advice aside, please never get an arcane pulse. It's not even worth it by F2P standards. At least the blast is remotely useful since it's a F2P necklace. But i still advise saving your tokens and getting a stream!

I only have 70 attack, and no thrills like 95 prayer or 85 herblore. As i covered in the OP. But i like your idea of claw rushing Ahrim and Karil; i didn't even think about that. I should be able to eliminate at least one of them with a full spec bar. And i thought i was out for healing besides rocktails and baskets of strawberries since i can't get an EE and don't have soulsplit. But i completely forgot about blood spells. Thanks!

I know, i know. It's another barrows thread, God forbid. But this one might be a bit different: Barrows on a Zerker. I made my Zerker members again the other day to continue working on a Zerker/Runite pure guide I'm building for submission to the AoW. And i thought i might have some fun along side of gathering data. So i wanted to try out barrows. I made my Zerker before i realized that they can do barrows. So I'm about to do In Search of the Myreque and deal with the extra 600 exp till level in defense for the shortcut. But after that, I'll be using home tab -> restore prayer -> portal to Canifis -> bank -> shortcut to barrows. My zerker pretty much has access to all of the good stuff(Sans things like high herblore and prayer). Full void w/ deflector(No mage hood though), barrows gloves, 94 mage, a decent cashpile, ect. But I'm wondering what would be the best method for him doing barrows due to his low defense. I'm obviously going to welfare my first few trips until i get used to barrowing on him. So I'd like to avoid using my void for a while(Getting that stuff without 100 combat is a nightmare). I was thinking about barrage Sallying just like i do on my main, though I'm extremely paranoid about forgetting that my attack style is on the lower left-hand side(Mage style for the sally) and switch to my DDS and accidentally spec on defensive... Though depending on what options are available to me, i might end up doing it this way anyway and just take the extra time to be extremely careful with attack styles. But if possible, I'd like to avoid sallying. And avoid praying on all the brothers(only 52 prayer, so i would need to bring a lot of potions). Also, I'd like to know if i should melee karil and range or melee ahrim(70 attack, 91 strength, 74 range). But if sallying is truly the best option, I'd like some input on my setup. On my main i use v skirt + nezzy helm + ahrim's top and my sally. So with my Zerker i was thinking a Dagon hai top(Splitbark maybe?), prossy skirt, and a prossy helm. And for the tunnels i would bring a rune kite + rune plate for the defense against the monsters down there. I appreciate any input that anyone can give me on suggestions and such. Thanks ^.^

Correct.

Then i don't quite get why you're posting in a Help and Advice thread about someone who wants to level their account for PKing  On topic though... The bare minimum you could PK with i believe is Vengeance and 70 prayer with Piety. But even then you're around the level of maxed out Zerkers and decently leveled Range tanks. Zerkers your level will most likely have around 99 strength, 60 - 80 attack, 94 mage with Vengeance, and possibly 95 prayer with Turmoil. And on top of that, Range tanks around your level would be 99 range, 80 - 99 defense, and 94 mage with Vengeance. It's a pretty daunting level to PK at <_< The only thing that i think would be pulling you though fights at those stats would be being a seasoned PKer. But I'm under the assumption that you aren't since you're making this topic. My friend faces the same problem as you. He wants to start member's PKing but is discouraged by all the high-level specialized accounts at his level. So he sticks to F2P PKing as of now. I'm always in favor of working on your main as much as you can before you start something like a pure. So adding on to what aspeeder and Last_to_Kn0w said, getting high-end combat stats is an option. But i believe your best option(A compromise between the being maxed and PKing as soon as possible) is getting around 120 combat. Maybe straight 90s. Or better yet, keep your defense as it is and get 90 - 95 strength with maybe 80 - 90 attack. And of course 70 prayer + piety and 94 magic are a given. You should have those before PKing on any account past level 85-ish. That would make you a decent barrows tank of sorts, and you should still be effective in PvP. But putting aside working on your main, Possibly the quickest and most easy way to get PKing experience is to make a pure account(1 def pure, zerker pure, you pick and choose) and PKing on there when you're mid-leveled. Doing this would allow you to bypass most of the hard work of leveling your main. And you should be able to PK fairly quickly on a 1 def pure or Zerker. Around maybe 50 combat for a 1 def pure, and 75-ish combat for a Zerker.

How much better then Torags is Bandos CP and Tassets?
HexiledRazz replied to brad1431's topic in Help and Advice
Fury > Berserker ring > 95 Prayer > Then a BCP and tassets. Where i would get the tassets first if you have a torso, and get the BCP first if you don't. You could get the BCP and tassets if you're in the process of saving for 95 Prayer. But prices are always shaky and it could be a risk. -
Interested to see your guide when its done! I would like a zerker, but I was always told they are a bit over rated without turmoil? I could just about afford 95 prayer, but that would be the end of my cash pile... My Zerker does pretty well without Turmoil. Though he isn't quite maxed yet. But maxing him out(Without turmoil) would only add about 4 combat levels to him. While Zerkers the same levels as him with 95 prayer and turmoil would be around 6 levels higher. So chances are, i wouldn't be facing any other Zerkers with turmoil at my level(Unless I'm in deep wildy hybriding, or it's a turmoil pure or a zerker with sadly low strength and attack levels with 95 prayer). But I'd say if you want to become a zerker and have the cash for turmoil, try to get an extra 10 - 30M to act as a cushion and then go for it. Because no one likes an empty bank <_<

brackish blade for someone who hasnt done mm
HexiledRazz replied to jjjon123's topic in Help and Advice
I noticed this as soon as i realized that it was basically a stabbing dragon scimitar, but you didn't need to finish any quests to use it. It'll be a new popular weapon for people who don't want to bother with Monkey Madness and just train straight to 70 for a whip/ss. And even pures of they don't want to bother with Monkey Madness for the subquest for RDF. Plus it reserves it's usefulness even after those levels because of it's stab bonus. Against metals for people who don't have access to a Korasi's. -
I pray that you're wrong.Extremes/overloads never reset in the wild when they came out. Why should they reset in someplace that the reset doesn't even have a purpose? You can't attack other people near the altar in the instanced armored zombie location, so the reason for the reset(Having an overpowered, unfair advantage against other players in risking PvP) is invalid.I believe it's either A: A bug that Jamflex has let go.Or B: Said Jamflex just being asses trolling us people with 85+ herblore <_<I pray it's the earlier option... Though i guess it won't matter to me in 4 strength levels anyway. Ext's and Ovl's have always been reset in the wildy since they came out, but only in pvp worlds. Yes. Only in PvP worlds. The only place they could be used to gain an unfair advantage in risking PvP. Same as now they can't be used in the wild where you can attack other players. However, you cannon attack other players in the "wild" outside the armored zombie dungeon. So the reset holds no point.
-
I second this. Bind that sucker and be one of the lucky ones that gets it early >.>

No real need to if it's still on the front page. And even then if it falls behind to the second page, it's up to you, the OP to decide if you want a bump to possibly get more answers  OT: I would at least try to get your strength up. Rock crabs are very AFKable, and it isn't too hard to find an empty world with the ones on Water birth. There's a spot where 3 of them spawn and the spawn rate is perfect with how fast you kill them. Try training here and watch a movie or do something else while keeping an eye on it. And better yet, you can use your range level to your advantage. Start PKing with rune knives for DPS, and switch to your obby maul for the K0. Though between rune knives and a slayer staff at 1 attack, I'm not completely sure which one is better DPS. But it would be worth a shot before you move out of the 1-attack pure zone. If you still don't want to be a 1 attack/1 def pure, then try just becoming a 50 attack granite mauler since you already have the slayer level for a leaf blade sword(Personally i think this is one of the best 1 def pure builds). And if that doesn't work for you, try getting some cash for claws and do Monkey Madness for a Dragon scimitar. One of the most common 1 def pure builds is this. A lot of people would argue that 10 or 13(from the EXP for rune RFD gloves) def pures are better though. And i would agree, so if you want to level your defense to try a whole new pure build, slowly move though the levels to see which ones you like. But be sure to quest for the majority of your attack exp, and if you decide to level it, your defense exp.

Epic win. That is all i have to say about this post. But seriously. So, i lose two days on ONE month out of the year. What does that mean? That i have to go downstairs and dig out some loose change from between the sofa cushions? God forbid. Did the OP even think about how stupid his argument was before he clicked post topic? <_<

As i have one myself, i highly recommend Zerkers and Runite pures. I consider them the most "worth it" pure, as they have access to so much for their level. They're a great compromise between PvP challenge and general practicability in terms of everyday-scap'ing. They have access to all the goodness of 1/10/20/30 def pures, with the added use of Vengence, void, Runite, and anything else that requires 40 - 45 defense. Plus, access to all of the features that "specialized" pures have, in one account. EG: You can't have a turmoil pure(28 defense for quest exp) and barrows glove pure(34 defense for quest exp) at the same time while keeping the desired low defense. But you can have them both at the same time on a zerker. I'm actually in the middle of creating a Runite/berserker pure guide to submit to the AoW. I figured since I'm so opinionated on them i might as well help out people that are trying to make them  Uhm, but what I'm getting at is: I'm in prime supportage of the Zerker pure idea. Though be sure to play around with a few defense levels. Get 40, then 42, then 45(All through questing!) to see how much you like them. Also plan out your questing to see which features you want and in which order. That is, if you decide to go zerker

OMG. I just spent every day ever since Nex came out grinding out money just so i could buy full Torva at GE. MY GOALS ARE RUINED. Seriously though. I've never seen anyone mention that any Nex armor went for GE unless it was out of sarcasm. Even if people do, it can't be often enough for you to justify making a thread for it.

The general census on 70 attack is that it really isn't worth it on a 1 def pure. And 78 definitely isn't worth it as you need 10 defense before you're able to get a Korasi's sword. And even then it's hard to beat the boss without getting some defense experience(I haven't seen any pure beat the boss without a beast of burden, and unless you have 96 summoning all those are going to get you controlled experience). So you'll most likely come out with around 11 - 13 defense. Realistically, you could spam the call follower button to keep your familiar off of the queen, but if they get locked in combat and actually hit, you'll get some unwanted experience. Although, a rapier on any account is good. And i think the extra ~7 combat levels is justified though the sheer advantage in power. Plus at that level you will be facing some mid-level zerkers. And that attack level will come in handy to keep your combos. Just be really careful with it, as getting smited out with 44 prayer can be easy, and you'll lose your rapier if you're skulled.
-
A shot in the dark, but i would imagine it's something with the programing. Maybe the game computes being in combat with one enemy differently as it does with two or more enemies.
-
It means 10 hours of actually being in combat. Meaning, it won't degrade while you just wear it, but if you're in combat(Even if you're not fighting back) the timer will go down. And yes, it has -4 slash. But to combat, it has a monstrous crush bonus. Meaning you'll have to crush with it. It can be a really effective weapon for even Range -> 2H'ing if you're quick with the combat style switches. Just be careful if you're doing it on a pure. Mess up and you could get yourself some unwanted defense/controlled exp.
-
Total level/for quest requirements. There are plenty of useful quests that require 60+ crafting, so you might as well get it up. Anywho, i confirmed with Runewiki that you need 55 crafting to make it, and cannot use assists.
-
The rewards that are generally thought as "most useful" are the Chaotic Rapier, Arcane Stream, and scrolls of Cleansing(I bought mine, and it saved me well over 10M 64 - 87 herblore. Would have been double that if i didn't do it on bonus weekend) and Life. But Life should only be bought if you do a decent amount of farming.
